I think it is a real shame that Notts have won it. And a real shame that Hants capitulated so easily against warwickshire. But I am mighty glad to see kent go down.

Well surely we are not unreasonable to wish for better than bottom of the third division?

Well we certainly like to make things difficult for ourselves - and we also like to indulge in a lot of wishful thinking. Still things can only get better (I hope).

Well we are now 30 for 3 - still 55 behind so we could go on the lose our last match of the season whcih i think would be a real shame. Our batting seems to have gone to pot. And i simply cannot see the point of bringing Hughes in. It's all a bit sad (like Saints).

Our players are about as poor as this site is when there is a bit of pressure! What a lot of rubbish people were writing when they said we had the best squad of players - we are in danger of heading for the fourth division with this lot.

It's lookign very like a draw now but at least we have got a few more points. I hope we bat a bit better in the second innings. I think your £100 for kent going down is now a racing certainty!
