There are some people who write on this forum who just don't strike me as real saints fans at all.

Having read some reports from people who were there I read that saints play was woeful - couldn't pass the ball, hoofed it up in the air, couldn't defend effectively, kept giving the ball away and didn't look that interested. If that is true, I think it is a matter for concern rather than for complacency.

Well he has done pretty well since he left us - as have many others. Alas it says something about our set up in the past and also perhaps something about our boo boys.

That really is a ridiculous comment! MLT kept us up in the PL for years and scored some of the greatest goals ever seen. He is one of a kind in a league of his own. If Cortese is with us for 17 or more years and we win the PL a few times then maybe we might start to mention him in the same breath as MLT. I think Cortese's problem is the size of his ego.
