I am p!ssed off - as anyone who reads the main board will have realised. I run a small, successful and profitable business creating software of various shapes and sizes. There is me, myself and I. A one-man band. Well, one man and his whippet who keeps me company through the long nights of toil. I have £8,500 of signed contracts. Yep, signed as in agreed, costed, firm orders. Naturally, I can't collect on the contracts until final delivery and final sign off. So I run a small overdraft with Nat West bank in order to pay me a small wage while I complete the work. The overdraft is currently £1,300 of a £3,000 limit. Without the overdraft facility I can not be in business. I do not have any substantial savings, and my only asset is my brain and the experience and knowledge I have stored in it. So why am I so p!ssed off with this smelly dung heap of a piece of turd country? Because the National Westminster Bank wrote me a letter, which I received yesterday, explaining that my overdraft facility will not be renewed at the end of December. The letter explains that I must repay the entire balance by January 16th. There is no explanation as to why. I have been running my account within agreed limits and paying for the privilege. The National Westminster bank is precisely that – a NATIONAL bank having been bailed out by the government. It is part of RBS. I went in and spoke with my account manager and showed her my three signed contracts of good, genuine work. I explained that I could not repay the overdraft. She pointed to her computer screen and said that my business savings account had £2,300 in it and that I should use that to cover the overdraft. I nearly ****ing slapped her. That is my VAT account and is due to be paid to the government. Which is ironic, seeing as how the government will just turn around and give it back to the bankers. This economy is completed tits up. I am p!ssed off. My whippet is sulking. My business is crippled because some greedy c\/nts decided to pull my perfectly respectable overdraft even when I showed them that I have work to cover it. It is a ****ed up world. I honestly do not know why we still think this country is worth living in. This country is a dung heap.

I will never want our lads to lose a football game. How can one be a fan and want them to lose? Doesn't make sense. that said, we need to sort this great football club out. And the only way to do that is to see the back of all the board members who are causing such division between us supporters. Lowe out.

we are going to stuff wolves by only losing 0-2.

basically the club is taking approx £100,000 LESS each home game, or 50 thousand pounds per week LESS than last year. So Lowe has cut costs. Whoppee. I thought it was necessary to cut costs too and am on record as giving Lowe's plan my support from a purely business rationale. But facts are facts and the club is now not receiving £50,000 per week which it did last season. Costs have come down but I will reckon that the net effect is actually still negative. In other words we are now in a worse situation than this time last year and we have no where near as strong or capable a squad. And who is in charge? Rupert Lowe.
-
Lowe out. no question. his very presence at St Mary's is causing a rift between fans, players and staff. There is nothing positive about him remaining at the club. As for who to replace him with - anyone, couldn't care. Could be Mr Portsmouth himself for all I care. Just so long as it ain't lowe. Lowe out.

I'm trying to say that Lowe is the best Chairman in the history of football. Isn't it obvious?
-
we will either get 7 points or none. And personally I don't think it is likely that we will get 7 points.

Would it benefit to declare your 'Allegiance'

One of the best posts of recent times. Absolutely spot on. Lowe must go. He is hardly a stabilizing presence. Lowe out. Go on sunshine, pack your bags, clear your desk and go. just go. get lost. stuff off. -

Anyone got Sky in Brighton, trains are up the spout
1976_Child replied to 1976_Child's topic in The Saints
thanks. already checked the Lion and Lobster (which is perhaps the best pub I know). They are showing the scousers. I suppose I could always go to Curry's and ask them to show it. Pretend I want to buy a flat screen tele but need to check it first... Bloody rail company. -
Darn it. The trains are all up the spout this weekend from Brighton to Southampton. Engineering works. Bus replacements around chichester. Means I can't get to the game and get back before midnight. Anyone know a place in Brighton which is going to show the game? Or want to invite me to watch it with them!! (I'll bring pop-corn and beer....)

get yourself to the ground man! you know you want to ...

I reckon we should get 19,527 A bit of an "Obama bounce" me thinks. Well, that and the fact that they played a blinder up at Preston.

sorry, didn't spot that this thread exists already. My eyes are not what they once were...

I'm pleasantly surprised at this announcement. Well done whoever thought of it - and yes, even if was Lowe. Credit where credit is due. I agree with the idea of a booklet of tickets, say 5 league games for £100 - which is £20 discount. The only problem I would see is that the games would have to be specified up front. I might be talking nonsense but I don't think the FA - or the police - would be happy to know that an unknown number of people where going to turn up to a game, or that the same seat had been sold twice. Any incentive to get people through the turnstiles is warmly received. That said, why wasn't the Coventry game kids-for-a-quid? Half term, ideal time to do it. Up the Saints.

Only three charities I support year-in, year-out: 1. Poppy Appeal - Royal British Legion 2. RNLI - life boats 3. Southampton Football Club Why? 1. Brave men and women who put their lives at risk so I don't have to speak German or Arabic. 2. Brave men and women who put their lives at risk so I don't have to drown when the Red Jet sinks. 3. 'cause we are broke and need support!

yeah, not sure I was 'taking a swipe' at Lowe. It is an expression, christ, calm down dear!

think we won last time as well ? I like the 'slate' kit. The only problem is it is only a 'k' away from being blue! And then I would have to slate it!
