poor lickle possums. I actually do feel sorry for them. Doesn't matter which club it is, to be tossed around from crook-to-crook and back again is not right. Makes a complete mockery of the 'fit and proper person' BS the FL do.

The longer we allow unchecked mass-immigration into this country, simultaneously off-shoring jobs and concentrating more and more wealth in the hands of fewer and fewer people, the more inflation eats into people's take home pay and the less social mobility there is then this sort of thing will get much more common. The greatest 'evil' (and I use that word advisedly) that successive governments have done to this once-great country is allowing millions of low-skilled economic migrants (of all skin colours) into the country. The hackneyed 'immigration is good for society' trotted out by politicians of all stripes is only true when attached to the phrase 'over time'. Small scale, slow immigration certainly has a benefit to reinvigorate culture and ideas but the mass-immigration which has seen upwards of 5 million new arrivals over just a few short years - certainly within a generation - is the most corrosive acid eating away at civil society. Is this woman's rant a nasty drunken polemic? Certainly. Does it come from despair and a lack of hope? Yes.

The facts are that Nato has killed 24 Pakistanis. This has been all but admitted by the top general. If it transpires that they were deliberately targeted then it is even worse than just plain 'murder' because it means that effectively Nato has declared war on Pakistan. You don't need to tell me that it is a complex situation. I am well aware of the tension in the region which is precisely why our involvement in this unnecessary and un-winable war is so stupid. Nothing good will come out of this. Pakistan is a tinder box, in case you hadn't noticed, and they have nuclear weapons and a huge army. Perhaps it is time more people started 'spouting off' to stop this disgusting bully-boy overreach by the 'virtuous' west. edit: "The Pakistani army said in a statement that two border posts had been attacked by helicopters and fighter aircraft, killing 24 people and leaving 13 injured. Indiscriminately kill (murder) innocent people. And it wasn't even in Afghanistan!! Never mind the fact that Nato has attacked and killed soldiers of a neighbouring country. Dear God, we are totally morally bankrupt.
