  1. You teaze:smt024
  2. :-$ it's Fri tomorrow....
  3. Thanks for the update Ron.
  4. At the moment the major shareholders are holding out for too much money to attract the right investor (not aka tyre-kickers - Fulthorpe and co). We are overpriced. They refused the SISU bid which was about 45p per share. The club realistically is only worth max 10p-18p per share. Until the major shareholders realise this, we are stuck with the current status quo or at worse administration. IMHO.
  5. You are absolutely right but it is their last throw of the dice. The question is if they fail will the major shareholders do what is right for SFC and sell it off cheaply to the right investor or will they hang on until the bitter end and push the club into administration? I fear it will be administration if their new strategy fails.
  6. The club will not be sold until the asking price is at the right level to attract the right investors. For an asking price of say £11M, realistically SFC is not a very attractive investment opportunity, it has too much debt. The club/major shareholders could easily find a wealthy buyer if they lowered the asking price to a sensible level, say south of £4M. IMHO.
  7. It's the silly season: The West Ham transfer rumour centre: Quashie and Boa Morte to Southampton? http://www.fansonline.net/westham/article.php?id=129
  8. :axe: You've convinced me....:smt016
  9. I'm really sceptical myself and am of the view that it will never happen. What are you hearing that is giving you hope?
  10. IMO the Jonathan Fulthorpe/John Cousins consortium will never be in a position to takeover Saints. I don't believe they have the finance to do the business. Takeover deals can happen very quickly provided the consortium is fully financed and serious about a deal. The Abu Dhabi United Group and it's takeover of Manchester City is a prime example of how quickly proper and well financed deals can be done.

Shame the official SFC website can't report this news.
  12. Have to agree with you. The off field events have played a major part in our demise. Like any successful company, even in the football industry, you need happy, committed customers and a quality product to enable the business to flourish. We have neither.
  13. What?
  14. & Wilde.
  15. Nail on head.
  16. Was it our lowest ever league attendance at St. Marys? The trouble is our attendances have to be North of £23K (a figure AC once quoted) for the club to break even.
  17. This time last year we had won 2 & lost 2.
  18. We paid the price for not taking our chances first-half. Second-half, we ran out of steam and ideas. Dissappointed that there was no plan B. Very poor attendance today of 15,629. The club will not survive long on those figures.
  19. Great news still. Puts the club in the driving seat.
  20. You nasty little man. You should be band from this forum.
  21. What a load of rubbish. Personally I'm finding all this cheap points scoring by the so called pro & anti Lowe brigade rather boring and pointless now. FFS can't you lot just stop baiting each other and just concentrate on supporting the team.
  22. Keeps you posting on the subject. Remind me, who started it?
