  18. http://www.portsmouth.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=172955 'Our aim is to put a stable foundation in place in all aspects of the business, beginning with the financial restructuring of the club'. So they've not clearing the debt, just restructuring it. Why aren't the new owners clearing the debts? Maybe they don't have the money? :^o
  19. I agree. The nationals are starting to suspect something fishy. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/portsmouth/article6863771.ece http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/on-the-trail-of-portsmouths-elusive-saviour-1798219.html
  20. Let me help you old chat;) http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/frattonlatest/Pompey-set-for-new-owners.5701687.jp?CommentPage=12&CommentPageLength=10 The takeover is subject to legal ratification but it is understood Ali Al Faraj - who is part of one of Saudi Arabia's wealthiest families and believed to have a personal holding in billion-dollar petroleum giant Sabic (Solent stated yesterday that this was not true) - has already passed the Premier League's fit and proper persons test. Hope it turns out all right for you lot. But just remenber that Al Fahim arrived under a similar plaze of PR hype. What a disaster he turned out to be! Also remember it was the Indepedent who sussed out Al fahim last time and they're now also asking the same questions of Al Faraj. That should be enough to worry you! By all means gloat in six months time when Al Faraj splashes the cash modernising your team, ground and training facilities.
  21. I'm not convinced this is the real deal. Google 'Al-Faraj family' and you'll find diddly squat. Nothing! Nothing on the Forbes rich list. A big surprise when you consider they're claiming to be one of the wealthiest families in Saudi Arabia. You don't become a billionaire on the secret in the modern multi-global business world. Let's give it a few months to see how it all pans out. I predict we are witnessing the start of Al-Fahim mark II?
  22. http://www.arabianbusiness.com/richlist/list The Al Faraj family are not listed. Do they sell photocopiers?
  23. According to Solent he's not involved with Sabic. Al Fahim mark II?
  24. Congratulations skates. You must be very proud.:smt082
