Unlucky with the red card. Ralph should have continued with three central midfielders with the ten men. A big mistake. Played well before this. Adam Armstrong is not ready for Premier League football. Needs dropping.

You can’t have a high wage low skilled economy without hyper inflation. A highly skilled based economy will facilitate high wages and low inflation. This is basic economics. Unfortunately, the UK is a long way from achieving a South Korean style economy.

Ralph got it wrong with the starting line up. Credit where it’s due, he got the subs and change of formation spot on. Well done Ralph. A well deserved point.

What a strange team selection. Oh dear ☹️
-
Unfortunately, this feels like another Carrillo signing.
-
Looks a waste of money. Hope this is not our main CB signing. If so, it’s going to be a long hard season.

I’m equally frustrated by Ralph’s lack of proactive, in game management. He’s definitely on borrowed time. However, the spine of the team is weak. Particularly central defence and midfield (except JWP). Until we address these two positions, not even Alex Ferguson could work wonders with this team. Surely, most of our anger / frustrations should be aimed at the ownership and CEO?

Yes it's a friendly, but we have been shocking. We'll struggle without Ings. The club must not risk its premier league status by going for a cheap replacement. It would be unforgivable.

Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester
Delmary replied to ChiefScummer's topic in The Saints
Leicester now require cb cover after Wesley Fofana broke his leg in a pre-season friendly tonight. -
I totally agree with this. if he stays and runs down his contract, I doubt that he would want to risk serous injury without the security of a long term contract. Bertrand and Hojbjerg are good examples of what can happen if you let key players run down their contracts. Their performances dropped.
-
Sorry but it was obvious it was serious. They should have cut coverage a lot sooner than they did. It was terribly insensitive.
-
Such terrible scenes. Disgusting and insensitive coverage by the BBC.

I enjoyed that.

Wrong sub. Why disrupt the CM😫

Would it be wrong to want Levy's head on a stake?

It's such a shame that they're saddled with £500M stadium debt. LOL.

4 points max.

It’s basic coaching that is letting us down. Defensively we are a mess.
-
Doggy start but clawed ourselves beck into the game. Suddenly we have lots of competition across most of the team. Things look a lot more positive today.
-
Lots of silly mistakes.

Wishful thinking, but you never know. We would be a good fit for the right price https://www.ineos.com/sports/football/

Don’t want to depress anyone, but it was actually 11 years ago. Time flies when you’re having fun! This was a golden era that will live in the memory for a long time😀

Tactically we don’t have a plan ‘b’ . This is one of the most frustrating things about Ralph.
