If it was that simple everyone would be doing it, football isn't just a balancing act between good football and results. You cannot just say that hoofball would get us results, our squad doesn't have it in them to turn to hoofball football and fly up the league. Am I seeing a different Adam Lallana to everybody else? How can you give him six out of ten for that dross? He is like a skinny Adam Hammill, absolutely no end product. I am starting to hope the rumours of other clubs sniffing around him are true. If there were any scouts in today checking out Lallana or Surman what sort of value would they put on the pair of them? Andrew Surman needs to reach deep down into his shorts and find his balls. I am fed up of seeing him pulling his foot out of tackles. If he really is a Saints fan he should be prepared to bleed for the cause but the ****ing great jessy is worried about scraping his shins. If Jason Euell had put in a performance like either one of the two of them today he would have been booed off the park. What a ****ing disappointment today was, once again I let myself get carried away from one good result and yet again I am gutted.

How did they not know what they were doing? Did it look like the problem was they didn't know what positions or formation they are playing in? Not from where I was sat, the problem was more with the form and performance of the players. But that would mean that there is nothing systemically wrong with the coaching set up, and coming to terms with a bed result is impossible without seeking out a root and branch upheaval of something or other until the next game.

Low profile? One of the things people used to throw at him was that he was a media whore, football chairman should be seen and not heard etc. etc. Now, he is keeping his head down and concentrating on the running of the club he is berated for being low profile. When will people stop being so ridiculous when it comes to Lowe? I would love someone else to take over tomorrow, preferably someone super-duper rich. Until that happens, Lowe is what we have. Petitions, boycotts, protests and so on will have zero impact on his position at the club.

I'm not sure that is correct but Davis was dealing with much more than shots on Saturday. Donny were knocking so many long balls through and Kelvin had to be on his toes to get off his line and beat the striker to the ball, don't think they would count that as a shot. I thought he played very well again on Saturday, I think if he had played on Tuesday we would have stood much more chance of going through and I think he has been undervalued since the day he arrived.

Were you there? We were shocking last night, the worst performance I have seen in my time following saints (it is up there with the 5-0s of last season) and the worrying part is it comes so soon after what I consider the best performance I have seen (at Derby). Surely one has the right to get a little worried about things?
