Playing one out of form striker up front on his own was not likely to get as result.Go a goal down very quickly negated the starting tactics, what does manager do..... NOTHING. Go a further goal down, what does manager do......NOTHING. ( Theres a pattern forming here if you look close ) No pressure is put on the Carlisle defence which in turn makes our five man midfield even more pointless. Yet another goal scored from an unmarked player, how many times does that happen ? FINALLY manager concedes and reverts to 442 with the result of pressure on the opposition,s defence resulting in a far better but futile ( due to now lack of time ) ending of the game. If you cant see that then YOU are the joke.............. be happy with second rate , obviously you have lower standards in life than others.

0/10 for Adkins on that . Was prepared to give him a chance but now convinced that he is not only technically enept but also lacks the bottle to admit mistakes and makes changes far too late.

Not sure the Wotton change was a good call. He played well an did the job he was brought on for but at the time we were all over them and looking to add a decisive third goal. The change took pressure off their defence and invited pressure on ourselves.

Just calling it as I see it am afraid. 1 Impact players ( Waigo/Antonio ) not kept or similar players bought. 2 Gamble on Connolly with his fitness now looks like a mistake. 3 The fear that Lambert would be sold/injured/looses form now realized. We never enter a season with a settled, uninjured team or with a settled manager in place. It always takes the entire season to get things right only for it to all fall to bits close/pre season. Until this changes we are stuck in this league as probably most of our better players will depart if we dont get up this season.

The warnings were there pre-season. Nothing was done about it and it,s too late ( for this season ) now.

Until we get in a decent ball-winning ( not ball-losing ) midfielder we are stuck in this league.

Not enough fight or goals in this team to get out of this league. Players like Guly and Puncheon are a luxury we cant afford. Would not have scored today if they played all night.Lets hope we scrape the play offs and get lucky.

It,s because of signings like him that we are in the league we are now.

We have spent more money than anyone else in this league but look where we are for it. Maybe the club/ Markus,s family are now thinking of wether it,s pudent chucking more money at it.

The warning signs were there in pre-season but as they were deemed only " practice/fitness " games few people on here could see what may happen and certainly nobody at the club.

Time warp pub, not been in there for a few years but it looked like it hasn,t had a penny spent on it for a century. Mate used his mobile and everyone gathered around to see what it was. Very strange.

Not cursed just unprofessional, un-streetwise and slow to adapt. This is due to the complete removal of people with footballing nous from the club over many years to be relaced by others that see it only as a business problem that can be sorted by radical means.
