If we had just one decent striker then it really would have been a great season. Pelle was a gamble that did not pay off and Long was and still is only a six goal a season striker. What a pity.

The defensive additions this season have been great. The offensive buys ( except for Mane ) , have been woeful.

Only 11 league goals all season from Pelle and Long. Shocking return for the money.
