  1. Has to be Mick Channon, although I thought his replacement Phil Boyer was a great little player.
  2. We can finish 8th. But we will most probably wont. Will the forwards we have score enough goals, on paper yes but am not sure. Will the defence be solid enough, maybe if VVD stays , but that's not certain. Will midfield be solid defensively and contribute to the goal tally ? I would say most definitely NOT. Mid table is a realistic finish.

  4. Wont have any say in the matter.
  5. Maybe so, but would we be in this position if - 1 We had won the league cup ? 2 Finished 8th, but played attractive football ? 3 Puel got on better with fans/players ? The club wants a long term, successful manager , but that will never happen if we lose all our best players every year. The club needs a reality check.
  6. If he's crap, he gets the bullet. If he's good, he jumps ship for a big club. Either way, this time next year we will be going through all this crap again.
  7. Not only do you think very little of Tadic, you must also think very little of your car to consider taking it into Liverpool.
  8. The one thing that connects this episode and those similar in the previous two years is that ALL the players WANT to leave. I know player loyalty ( apart from bad ones that would struggle elsewhere ) is a thing of the past, but I do think that we have been unlucky with the character quality of these players in recent years.
  9. Nail, head. Still it gives them some hope to cling onto.
  10. Except that most of that money will be " banked " and the rest spent on yet another ineffectual , foreign, attacking midfielder.
  11. Will require an OG or two for that to happen.
  12. Going to end up as next seasons Middlesbrough if this doesn't get sorted out. There is a predictable trait emerging in ALL of these games and it does not bode well.
  13. We haven't replaced Lallana yet.
  14. Most in the bank, the rest on an inferior replacement. OR all in the bank and carry on with the present CB pairing. Either way what me, you or anyone else on here thinks will play no part in it.
  15. Depends on what happens with the wodge of cash.
  16. More than a realistic chance of finishing in 16th place, which is about the correct position considering performances/goals/shots per goal/ transfers etc. merits.
  17. Fully expect them to be the first choice CB pairing for next season.
  18. Agreed with all of this, until you got to the Puel bit.
  19. Our record of signing Foreign attacking midfielders is woeful, Ekelund and Berkovic probably being the only exceptions.
  20. Look on the bright side, cannot see a BIG club wanting anything that was on show today.
  21. As far as I am concerned, there are NO attacking midfielders at this club.
  22. That's what makes the Premier league, the best league in the world don't you know !
  23. It,s the " view of Woolston " bit where this plan unhinges.
  24. Ditch it all and get some Ra-Ra girls in.
  25. You missed out one vital part of the equation, our transfer policy.
