Well said - Jose Fonte has been a legend of this club, he stayed and fought through the real bad times and got us back to the top.. don't anyone forget that and spoil his memory with "well if he wants to go, let him etc etc". There is obviously something going on at the club between players, coaches and manager. That is what needs sorting, but not by having a go at a legend. Sorry to see you go Jose but thank you for bringing us good times.

Everton were excellent, a really quality away performance with power, pace and solid defending.. IF Pelle had scored with the header and Mane with his chance 46 seconds before Lukaku scored on the break i'm sure the game would have been different. But that's football and Everton took their chances.. No need to panic yet xx

Yes i agree the fitness of the players yesterday was fantastic, it also shows what desire and determination can do. You could tell we wanted to win far more than the so called 'super stars'. Keep that up for the remaining games and we will be playing premier league football next season.

Why aren't we still interested in Gary Hooper ? Last night we lacked someone with a bit of pace and class to make a difference when it was needed. Everton brought on Anichibe and we brought on De Ridder, enough said..

My biggest concern is the talk of a player revolt.. It doesn't matter too much what the fans do to protest but if the players feel the same then the last 2 years have been a complete waste and Cortese will remain a tosser. Stay up and build for the future Cortese could be a messiah !! His career too is on a knife edge.

This obviously why everything cooled on Gary Hooper, as we were all over him in the summer then no interest was shown in this window. NA was probably told not to bother looking for players and realised what was around the corner..

What a great day.. Team played really well, fans were excellent and the result, well it could have been 6 or 7 in the end. Lee Camp saved 2 great shots and Jos and Aaron both missed sitters from crosses near the end. It was good to see AL gettiing back to his best but it would be wrong to single anyone out , the whole team played well.. and i've lost my voice but i don't care. we are SOUTHAMPTON we're top of the league!!
