Merrington still thinks he knows it all!
The Majestic Channon replied to Nutwood2's topic in The Saints
He has more experience than all of us surely? What makes you think managers analysed the oppostion less in Dave's time? Dave's a saints nut and has 40 years of experince, so he repeats himself a bit..whoopee doo -

God we've got some dic kheads on here.. wtf is the ' uncle dave knows best' ****e ? Dave is one the least arrogant people you could meet and when he does criticise saints, i think he is doing so reluctantly It's his job to use his years of experience in football to give his honest opinion which he does and always speaks sense imo. -

Are they really that thick or on a wind up? some comments made... 1/ The manager has to get consistency out of his team. ...but we are top of the league you freak 2/Its what happens when you only use about 13 players in the first team and one of them gets injured. Lambert, Lallana, Chaplow and now Fonte have all missed games and its massively affected the performance.....Damn adkins for not leaving out our best players to prevent injury . Look at what happened with Bart the other week FFS. Maybe he should have played against Pompey.....dear god top of the league By 4 points, which will be 1 point tomorrow. How on earth can you be satisfied with that ? .... how on earth can't you be?????? what were your expectations pre season???? What level of confidence do you have that our away form is going to improve ? ....did you see the skate game? was an improvement despite the 1-1 result what p*sses me off is that if tw*ts like me can see it, why cant one after another experienced Saints manager see it and do something about it. F**king wake up all of you, our season has run out of steam......jesus Well, imho it will a long, long time before we get such a good opportunity to secure promotion to the PL again, maybe even longer than NC and the Liebherrs are willing to give this project. ..... yeah top of the league at xmas and it's all over, **** sake saints you should be 20 points clear , can't believe we lost a game at home for the the 1st time this year..( manure aside) Will people now accept that we won't go up? ....no, anything else? All but one of those posts made by one poster, guess who? Again,to you very few unrealistic 'fans' seriously, if pre season you knew where we would be now would you not have been estatic???? if not you are ****ing brain dead

What amazed me most about Lowe appointing wigley was the fact he clearly hadn't learnt from the stuart gray fiasco. Been thinking back to the lowe days reading this thread and it reminds me of how lucky we are with our owners / chairman now,i haven't felt this good being a saint since the Lawrie days.

I've got that on 7 " vinyl with the subbuteo sleeve. Loved subbuteo myself , me and my brother used to play tournaments , we even drew teams out of a hat the figurarens kept breaking though so we had to keep super gluing them.
