  1. Excellent signings Imo. Still think it will take another month to gel properly and then i can see us getting a decent run of results. Well done to AP, cracking L1 team on paper but now its time to start doing it on the pitch. COYR
  2. HELP! Can anyone tell me how to withdraw a bid on e-bay? I just bid £6 for a Mickey Mouse outfit and now apparently I'm only 15 minutes away from owning Portsmouth FC!!
  3. Forbes Earnest Phillipson-Masters (Aug 1972) Now that was a big name signing!!
  4. Seems like Liebherr Pardew & co have taken the club as far as they can! Time to move on I reckon. Where's Marc Jackson & Peter Reid when you need em FFS stop moaning!

    Team v QPR?

FFS you depressing prat! Of course Leibherr and Pardew have a plan. AP knows we need new players and said we will bring in new players. The backroom staff have been appointed so the structure is now in place. Lets wait and see what happens between now and next sat and then maybe get the razorblades out.

    Team v QPR?

Cue the doom and gloom merchants !!
  7. As far as Im aware there are clauses with Aviva that further payments would be made based on promotions which seems fair. Although technically not a debt if we remain in league 1. Dont know the amounts but DP "may" be able to shed some light on it.

    Skates

Weve only conceded 2 goals in last two games "skateboy"
  9. Salisbury "Nick holmes barmy army"
  10. Abdullah Bin Saaed Al Thani Worth £1.5 Billion (Allegedly) Markus Liebherr £2.7 Billion £40K a week for a part time Sv G E !!! What a laff Just for info does anyone know if there is still a wage cap for players in league 2?
  11. Cant believe so many are panicking all ready. Pardew has only been here two days and knows full well what needs to be done. There is no way he would have accepted the job if he hadn't been assured that the finances are there to do the job. Just gotta be patient and see what unfolds, but its gonna be so much better than the ****e we've been sufferin for far too long Can't wait for the season to start, new players will arrive but it aint gonna happen overnight.
  12. Here here! Cant believe the whingers are moaning about this. Wotte has been completely profesional through all of this and could have walked away. Good on him for been committed to sfc. He's the only chance weve got of being anything near prepared come the Millwall game. FFS STOP BLOODY MOANING.
  13. Yes But then I'm prepared to be completely underwhelmed!
  14. Didn't Pinnacle say they had a 5 year plan to get back in the prem? Even with the minus 10 points that's still completely conceivable. 2 seasons in league 1. 3rd season stabilize in championship, promotion 4th season, Season 5 back where we belong looking down on the bankrupt skates. Come on Tony time to commit and start planning
  15. Is this football league nonsense really worth the risk of your consortium losing the opportunity to buy the club Tony? Mark Fry has now stated we are back in a first come first served situation (according to the echo) Or are there other reasons the deal has not yet been completed? We are two days away from pay day and I am led to believe that bonuses are due as well adding up to around 750k total. If as you say this situation is not a deal breaker and that the players will be paid then why not pay the money for wages now. This would do more than anything to reassure the fans.
  16. I agree with you nick. Pinnacle as of yet haven't come up with the goods so lets not cut the ropes to the safety net just yet. Dont know much about mj apart from heresay on the forum but i assume he must of provided proof of funds. Even so please pinnacle get it done!!!!
  17. Thanks for your cheerful words of comfort. Im off to get bladdered:rolleyes:
  18. Completely agree with you now Andy. How much does prozac cost these days?
  19. Were we not advised that it was highly unlikely that Pinnacle would need the full 21 days to complete the takeover? The fact that it now appears to be a race against time indicates that something may have cropped up to put a spanner in the works so perhaps there could be some truth in this. However it has also been said that other people had contacted Pinnacle regarding teaming up on the takeover so hopefully all will not be lost if the backer has pulled out. Guess i picked the wrong week to give up spliffs!
  20. Yet another completely pointless thread. Nobodys gona be told anything until we are taken over. Get a life and find somethin else to take your mind off it til friday!
  21. Nick Holmes & Tommy Widdrington. Fantastic job at Salisbury & Saints legends.
  22. Any players (assets) sold before pinnacle put pen to paper would no doubt affect the buying price of the club so you would have to assume that any sales would only be those agreed with pinnacle. This means either they dont have a vast amount of dosh to throw at the team or they feel they can buy better players than those being sold which we all pray is the case. Only time will tell!
  23. Yo Big Bro! Do you ever do any work? Cant make it to Saints aid but fly back for glasto lol!!!

    Saints Aid

In hindsight I totally agree with you. It just dissappointing that some fans on here are still slagging it off. At least these people did something rather than burying there heads in the sand waiting for everyone else to do something. Ok it wasn't to everone's taste but it was a lot of hard work by a lot of people who love this club and for all the right reasons. I salute them all.
