A growing number of fans feel it's time for Adkins to go it appears but no suggestions from any of them of who they feel could replace him and do any better with the players we currently have? Who do people think could make a difference? Personally I don't think he has got too much wrong tactically. Yes, he has made mistakes but we've just been punished for far too many individual player cock ups that he has no control over but he is still learning and how are we supposed to get the next generation of English managers if they are not given a chance. I still have faith in Nigel to turn this round but unless we bring in some quality defenders in Jan then we are surely doomed.

The last 3 years have been brilliant for going to matches but here we are back in the so called "Big Time" and all the old in-fighting has started again (Already). If you judge it on "Pub talk" bragging rights then it is great to be back among the elite, but if you want a good day out with the mates and going home happy then give me the Championship anyday.I really don't like the Premer league but that is my personal opinion. Great post LDH Watched every game so far and don't think overall we have played that badly considering the quality of the oppostion. We have created good chances and scored against some of the best teams in England and Europe. Most problems imo have been created by mistakes in midfield, some at the moment tbh seem to be struggling with the new formation but even after the crap results we have had we are still not in the bottom 3!! Many posters on here seem to think we should have bought a whole new team in the summer but it hasn't done QR ha ha ha ha much good as yet. Last seasons squad at least deserved a chance surely? We will learn and improve and I am sure will strengthen where neccessary in January plus we still have Corky/Lee/Spiderman/Jos to come back in in the next few weeks. COYR Sing yer hearts out for the lads!!

Big fan of Kelv but this season I get nervous everytime the ball comes near him. If Gazzaniga isn't ready to "step up" then why the hell did we sign him? Having said that I think Kelv will start today with Gazza getting his chance against Shef Weds. Lets hope a few players get a bit of confidence back today. COYR

Poor defending today but they were not helped by an awful midfield. Lallana and S.Davies both had a very poor game, Punch tried his best to get things going but left Clyne too exposed on numerous occasions and not the best performance by Morgan. Having said that I thought Arsenal were excellent and completely nullified any game plan we came up with. Way too soon to panic. Ramirez and Maya both look exciting prospects and Fonte had a decent game imo.

Maybe the fact he starts wum threads then runs away. A complete Bell end!
