I looked in on their forum earlier and it’s safe to say that they’re preparing for relegation. It’s interesting that some (seemingly connected) posters were saying that they were pi**ing other clubs off by wading into advanced transfer deals knowing they couldn’t afford the players.

Am I the only one that’s sat here watching sky with all the insane money being thrown around thinking that football is pure bullshit and don’t really give a fuck? Edit - and Clinton Morrison is really annoying and in the old days I’d probably have gone straight through him for the crack

I’m sure he’ll be on big money which turns a lot of players heads and will quite possibly have a performance bonus plus some form of relegation clause. I know I’d have 1 inserted if it were me. Saints are over a barrel getting gently lubed up.

There’s no money in healthy patients. As you say, the answer is screamingly obvious. However, I doubt he’s being particularly honest with his doctor. I’ve drunk way less than over Christmas and my cognitive function is so much better. I’m convinced that if alcohol was invented now it would be illegal

Yeah had a few glasses of red, a few beers and a few gins over the weekend. Hi Nathan edit: I actually agree that we have some utter melts for fans.

My bad. I was obviously thinking of someone else.

Don’t know much about him other than he’s about 5 foot tall and ran around a lot in the World Cup. From memory he was ok but nothing special. Would be a good squad filler for a mid to lower table team (i.e. Bournemoutn) but not someone who will set the league on fire.

Not been able to pay attention to any of this today. Without any NJ biases. How have we actually played?

A lot of my family are miners from the valley. They’re the ugliest bunch of people I’ve ever clapped eyes on. Saw a picture of them when I was around 11 years old and it scared the daylights outta me. They looked like something out of the hills have eyes! Not sure how I turned out so pretty to be honest. On this, did anyone else notice NJ’s assistant constantly eyeballing 1 of Forests coaching team for the final 30 minutes. He seemed a little unhinged about him after they initially squared up to each other. He then confronted him for a second time at the final whistle.

I genuinely feel sorry for NJ. He’s been somewhat thrown under the bus by a board of directors that don’t seem to know football as well as we thought they did. He’s clearly so far out of his depth he’d probably be up to his neck if he was standing in a puddle in the car park. I’m still struggling to understand what happened on Wednesday and what he was trying to achieve. I can only assume that he was trying to win knock downs from the hooooof ball, which simply doesn’t work in this league. At least not enough to keep us in it, especially seeing as ALL of our players, especially the young 1’s (so most) will never have played this style before. They probably even use it as a derogatory term to mock the lower leagues. I also assume (quite possibly a dangerous move right now) that they’re already scouting for a new manager immediately by analysing their vast database, tweaking the unparalleled black box and using various trigonometry techniques that will unearth the next Pep.

Not that I saw. Even when some were screaming “f*****g look at me Semmens you coward, this is all your f*****g fault”. It Went on for about 5 minutes after the whistle. I even saw MLT raise his eyebrows and said “oh shit” at full time. Must have brought back memories of Brandfoot for him. I genuinely can’t see where the next win is coming from as the players look lost. This was possibly the worst PL performance I’ve ever witnessed The football was almost as crap as the light show.

These 2 were getting absolute dogs abuse at the end. An incredibly toxic atmosphere that isn’t going to end well. I simply can’t see how they can keep NJ in position. For his sake as much as anything.
