I think your brother could be recieving his P45 in the next day or to. The club will have seen this post and no doubt will have identified who the leak is. Could well be a trap set by the club plumber to identify the club leak me thinks

I see its being reported on BBC that the Dubai Zebeal group have pulled out of the potential takeover of charlton. Apparently its for financial reasons. I did hear that charlton couldnt do a deal with a chief Finance officer who resembled barry the briefcase

I find it quite profound that the only people bleating on about lowe are the anti lowe brigade. Theres rarely a comment in the press comming from him and I cannot recall when he was last on TV/radio giving an interview. Its seems it is only the anti lowe brigade who are keeping his name in the headlines not the man him self Oh and another lesson I have learnt is that Alpine has confirmed he is a serial whinger.

Alpine Don't you like triangles as I thought toblerone was made in your neck of the woods

A few of the lads need to have a good long look in the mirror
Viking Warrior replied to TopGun's topic in The Saints
I take your point BrmBrm I cant see the players coming out at 255pm saying we know we are going to play ****e but we will be giving it 150% or the lads are up for this, we feel confident and we need to shut up shop in defence and hopefully we will catch them on the break and score. Or if the players were really allowed to state their true feelings, The FA would be down on them like a ton of bricks for bringing the game into disrepute look at Joe Kinnear. I suppose if your name was Rio (I have a lot to spout off about) Ferdinand then they might get aeway with it. Also Uncle Lowe and co would not be best pleased if a player openly criticised the club, management. Seem to recall tommy Boyd has just done that to our ex manager. his fellow players were not best to pleased with his out burst. So basically the players cant say to much before or after the match -

So egreog What do you want the players to say? You moan when they say nothing, you moan when the applaud the fans and you moan when they do say something. Are you related to Alpine by any chance? -
Its all well and good the usually brigade of moaners calling for JP's head. but yet another change is not going to help the club either in the short term or medium term I dont particularly like what is happening at the club re our results. but I have resigned myself to the fact it is going to be a bumby ride this season. but thats what happens when a club is in a state of transition. I would like to see a true leader and inspirational capt on the field but all our old heads are crocked at present. Schnieder might be a useful bet, he has something about him a determination to win etc. I know when the final whistle goes and we have lost that the normal cohorts come out in force with wave after wave of lets sack Lowe, JP etc. I cant change your minds, but I for one will continue to support saints thru thick and thin. I dont need you moaners telling me we are ****e at present , I can see that for my self. but unlike some of you I haven't and never will give up on the team or club. Perhaps its being an eternal optomist but I genuinely believe ww will come good again.

Im not so certain those who use the excuse , that while lowe is still at the club they will boycott St Mary's Yeah sure , there are some who who are staying away for that reason but it is a small minority. I think many fans go to games because the team are doing well but now stay away as we are seen as no hopers, (The plastic Fan). There are other groups as well, I get to games when I can, but because of sky changing games to suit their TV needs. I do not bother with a season ticket now which I have had for a number of years for these very reasons. Also the cost of air fares to get the game are extortionate. I also have a confession as to who I am. I was formerly known as Orkney Saint and still live here. So getting to a game is costing between £300 and £400 quid a time. The local airline is being taken over by FLYBE in a couple of weeks and I have gone on line to book some flights. Using my Air Discount card (You get upto 50% off your ticket being an islander. I find FLYBE are charging even more than BA to get down to Heathrow or Southampton So basic there are myriad of reasons for not going to games mines sky and the cost of air tickets

cant be saints. unless the betting is to with us scoring in the first half indeed if at all. So Ithink we can be ruled out of the equation. After all we have been known as southampton nil for decades

I see the normal doom and gloom merchants are in full depressive swing this week since our defeat at Coventry. As for NP yes I liked him as a person and it easy for some of you spout off we would be doing better had he still been here. I think it would be very debatable, some of you so called experts are missing the point about the mess we are in. Barclay bank are calling the shots as I recall. The club would still have had to sell all the players whether Pearson was here or not. So what would he have been left with, yep the academy and youngsters. Would he have been doing any better than JP He would not have been able to buy any reasonable players because barclays will not allow that. That is why we have a number of loanees on our books. Some of you are inpatient and some of you just want the worse to happen to the club but me I can see a bright future for the club not immediatley I agree its going to a bumby period but we will be great club again either next season or the season after. Get behind the team FFs, instead of trying to change history. Look at all the facts. Blame Lowe for not appointing David Moyes all those years ago but lowe did not want to change the back room staff instead he was loyal to the back room staff.

Tomble I suspect that your case would be ruled out of time, however its stil possible to lodge a case for discrimination dependent on the material factor in your case 1. It would be useful to find out the following from you are you male or female . If a male was preference given to the opposite sex? 2. Did some less qualified than you get the job based on their ethnicity? 3. How did you come to find out that you were the 2nd person By fair or Foul means? 4. You could still raise a claim , as the management side would have to prove that they have not discriminated against you. No Longer the other way round. The NHS have a number of policies re equal opportunities for all but don't believe that. Some groups of workers are more equal than others!!!!! If your a man basically you are bottom of the pile when it comes to promotion and opportunities. I resigned my post with the NHS out of principle a few years back , because I was told who 1 was to offer two senior contracts to. Some very good male and female candidates were rejected when they had far more experience and qualifications than the two that were given the senior jobs. One female sued them and got a six figure sum. I had left by the time in went to tribunal. I like your attitude , just let it go this once but if you want some further advice away from the forum let me know

Cabbage face Clearly you are somebody of high intelligence who was or is studying at either at cambridge or Oxford. No doubt taking a degree in how to con the public purse with your dissertation in how do I claim my benefits without being caught For Your information the definition of a moron is as follows "a former term for somebody with significant learning difficulties and impaired social skills, now considered offensive" So if you want to call me names then use something more appropriate and no I am not a female genitalia either. What Line of work are you in then Cabbage? Im not going to brag but I do have a Masters degree in Employment law (Leicester Uni) and a personnel managemnt Degree) Robsk I agree with your sentiments about some 16 year olds being in the Army and many have become very good lads, but the same thing can be said of the Navy. Many years back the navy would take almost anyone in society. Trouble is todays Navy do not have enough ships or submarines to accomodate some of these wayward lads. One success story for the Navy must be the way they have turned around Dell days to become a fine pillor of society. If Your a Blue Job Robsk then you have my sympathy All PC elemnt of that branch of the Armed Forces

Cabbage face your comments re the army is for morons and thugs is well ard. I bet you wouldnt have the balls to say it face to face to a para, an infantry soldier or even any of the support services. Im still serving though now with the TA , but I have did 25 years regular service before that. And I have seen my fair share of mutilation in one form or another. Being a Medic and all that. I work as part of team preparing our doctors and Nurses going out to warmer climates. I wouldnt not call them morons or thugs . Similarly the boys doing the real work in Iraq and afghan are neither thugs or morons but switched on well trained soldeirs who look after each other. Doesnt matter what cap badge , there is mutual respect for each other. So unles you are a wind up merchant , do your home work first before comming out with such ridiculous statements about morons and thugs you cretin

I too watched this programme. I was appalled how biased it was. there were some key points I picked up on Firstly how did he manage to infilitrate the system without being found out. Normally the army is pretty strict on its vetting procedures. after all a number of ira members managed to join the army in the 70's until someone cottoned on that the IRA seemed to cotton on to the tactics the army were using in NI. The reporter was moaning about not being allowed home during his initial training but others were. Now there are two phases to training basic and then the trained soldier bit. During basic training when you are taught to march etc you are not normally allowed out for the first 6 weeks or so. The programme did not reflect the true picture of basic training. The most worrying thing for me how ever was that he always seemed to be asking questions about bullying fronm a variety of recruits at various stages of their training. How did he manage to have so much time to do that when he should have been with his squad doing jhis uniform, parades room inspections etc. And surely those he was asking questions of must have been suspisicious. Any normal recruit would be talking about everything but bullying. Sorry the Army is so Pc that even if you shouted at a recruit they would be hauled before the platoon commander. Also recruits are given yellow and red cards to hold up, similar to a referee if the instructor is being over zealous.

Come on sailor boy give it a rest. I also enjoyed the game, disappointed we did not win , We should have had two penalties, how durso didnt give one for the foul on John is incredible, if it had been arsenal or united it would have been given no question. Thats the second week running the officals have screwed us. THe QPR second goal was the key turning point in that match and was miles off side. when he gave the goal , the lads had their confidence shot to peices with that goal . Had the Linesman flag we would not have lost four nil and I had a feeling that we were going to get a draw or even a win up until that point. Oh I got a yellow card from the land lord in the pub I was watching that game on over in Malta, I was so incensed. At least he sympathised with me and allowedme to stay. Still it was good to be back to watch the game at St Mary's yesterday. Keep the faith this team providing they stay together will be a force to reckon with next season. We will not get a top six finish this year and I dont think we will get relegated, although I predict a roller coaster ride for us this season

I heard that Saint Kenny Mark Dennis is an absolute ****. I listened on the way back to Romsey and was totally ****ed off with his negativity re lowe , the PLc and JP There was one caller Phil and he was non to happy with his comments especially as he was saying the club has no money to spend etc etc and we have to play with what we got. And then Clive Foley comes on bemoaning the club etc etc Rupert lowe, sounded like foley and dennis were ****ging each other on air. Foley went on about Nick Illingsworth much to Mark Dennis's joy, referring that people lkike Nick are just egoist who enjoy seeing their names in the headlines. Now I dont always agree with Nick but I tried to get on air in support of Nick but no luck. Soon after Perry Mcmillin is on the line so foley dennis and mcmillan were having a real love in, each manipulating their own egos. Tossers I turned off when perry was babbling on.

Phil Does marc still have the same mobile no. I shall give St D a ring on my return to the UK. I will have a few euros to spare to add to his paupers tin. PS what was the name of Paul Allens yacht Oddessey by any chance MIKE
-
Hi Dubai Phil Interesting reading your posts as usual tell me do St D and lss still post under different alias's ? I guess we can only speculate about any takeover. I ill see if there are any billionaires in Malta there might be given the amount of big yachts in valleta harbour but no sign of Paul Allen. Talking Football I went and watched Malta V Portugal on Saturday , Only 8 euros to get in , You can drink beer and smoke in the stands, amazing you can take beer into the ground provided there is not a top on the bottle. do you think old rupes would agree to this? Football was dire that night. This site is well known at the Hotel im staying at , used their internet cafe and low and behold when I typed saints web in the google search engine a number of fans had been there already Anyway now off for a few local beers.
