So many are blinkered by their hate lowe at all costs mentality they are perhaps missing the full picture. There have been some good discussions on this thread re lowes involvement. I believe it is not so much Rupert Lowe calling the tune, he is the messenger after all and if he is being forced to make unpalatable decisions because barclays bank and other creditors are holding a gun to his head in order to stave off administration. If say we do end up in administration, do you think the bank will care less what standard of players we will have on our books. I can see them stripping our assets far quicker than lowe is doing. The training ground will be kicked in to touch for a start , and ground maint will be contracted to the local council. And if you are luckey the grass at St Mary's will only be cut once a month I may seem to be supporting lowelife but I am not. I am just trying to look at the whole picture and will not jump on the anti lowe agenda like some

Im not so sure that Lowe will stick with JP through thick and thin unless we go into administration. Yes he is giving JP time to sort out the playing side but Im equally sure that if JP dosent start to turn the fortunes around on the playing field> Im sure he will dispense of JP's services. Clearly the plan is not working all though there have been some good performances by the team , the bad performances are sadly overshadowing these. So if the performances do not improve I wouldnt be suprised to see Lowe weald the axe. He gave wigley a chance and then chopped him. lets see what the next two months bring. One thing for sure we will not be getting redkrapp back. That is the sole reason I do not want lowe at the club.

I do not disagree with the sentiments of a number of esteemed contributers on the LOwe subject, but there is an awful lot of emotive langauge being thrown about re lowe. Take the arrogance allegation. This is being spouted time and time again but since he has returned to the fold he has been conspicous by his absence. I cannot recall hearing or let alone seeing him give press interviews since his return. Previously he would hog the media limelight and did show his arrogance. If he was that arrogant then surely he would have been seen more frequently in the public eye. This time he has kept a very discrete profile. Evan Mike Wilde rarely speaks out. I am in many ways encouraged that the two are keeping out of the media and I trust they are doing every thing in their power to sort us out. We are not the only club in this predicament, and we will not be the last. Football needs to sort its act out before the bubble bursts. We need a level playing field for all not just the top six clubs in the premier. I do blame lowe for some of whats gone on at the club. equally its not all his fault. Blame Greedy agents, Sky, the players, the media, hone dalliu crouch, wilde etc as well as Lowe.

Wes Tender There are those that are opposed to lowe and wilde at all costs. Im neither for or against them. Nothing us fans can do is going to chahge that. It is the shareholders and I being one do not have enough shares to force avote of no confidence. I see nobody waiting in the wings to suggest an EGM which would cost the club even more money we do not have, So that motion is counter productive. Im sure lowe will sell if there was an interested party but there isnt, So basically for the time being we are stuffed. A further change to the board is far from helpful. Supposing fulthorpe and merrington did come in , how long would it be before the usual cohorts on this site start calling for their heads on a plate when there is no further improvement in club fortunes? I suspect the light at the end of the tunnel is more than likely to be the administration train hitting us full on

Im not suprised there is so much negativity this morning. A number of our fans have such a negative view point when it comes to a run of bad results. For me this season is a continum of last season, in that we are still struggling. It does not matter whether it is Hone, crouch or lowe at the helm we are in a mess end of. Getting rid of Lowe without any sound replacement is a very poor excuse to get rid of some one. I suspect that long shot is one of the SISA disciples referring to the so called runnymede minutes. Dont take this the wrong way long shot either put up or shut up. Put the minutes onto this list if you have them instead of quoting certain parts to suit your motives. Back to the club, We are in a mess, Barclays bank are calling the shots and I suspect they will sacrifice football clubs such as ourselves to keep their shareholders happy. Equally where is Fulthorpe and Merrington when we need them the most. Merrington has been intimating that the takeover is near. I have not heard him say it directly as I have only read this on this forum Perhaps Merrington could be better emplyed using his social worker background to counsel most of us dejected and depressed fans. If he charged a fee then possibly he could afford to by the club!!! I am trying to keep the faith, I will never give up supporting saints. I believe we will be okay in due course, I hope it is sooner rather than later. If we were to get relegated , so be it. Im not sure that will be the case. there is a long way to go and historically November has always been a good month for us in terms of winning games Try and be positive fellow fans don't let the negative brigade get under your skin. its not healthy but as I have said already I dont like what is happening but this constant abuse of the club is not helping matters

On a slightly different tact I was just wandering if the club were being exposed to equal pay claims which could prove costly to the club Suppose John and Rudi were on 20k a week and all the other players are on 5k Im sure the ambulance chasing lawyers maybe waiting in the weeks to try a test case.
