I totally missed the post about wilde stating they were hopeful of signing a striker. Which given the timing would suggest that it was JP signing but then again I think that JP was given his marching orders a few days before it was formally annouced. only speculating as I do not have any contacts -
I know the russians have got billions from the RBS in loans and have no intention of paying it back. The RBS has cost me thousands due to the mis-management of my retirement savings investments. maybe i can ask the ruskies if they will invest some of the money they have indirectly taken from me in Saints instead. I blame abromavich for the plight of saints and other teams in the championship. There must be some russian tycoon out there who would like to invest in us. just think we could throw in fawley as a potental carrot for their future investment

Hypo I get the geest of what your saying. but at this stage we do not have a clue on how much he has cost, he may have come on a free transfer or a bosman etc etc Lets wait and see before we pass judgement -

Um I agree you didnt say he was ****e but others intimated that. We do not know if it is a permanent signing a lowe or even a swop. Perhaps Saga or Mcgoldrick are going in the opposite direction. Given that it would appear that the signing was either agreed today with registration with the FA taking place tomorrow. I would suggest it has nothing to do with JP more to do with Wotte. If it was wotte then one would could conclude that he is the head coach for the time being perhaps to the end of the season or until such time as a Leon gets his way and gets rid of the dutch connection. or A new investor (Highly unlikley) takesover and instals his own people or more than likely the fans turn on him in such a vile manner that he will be forced to retreat back to holland like his predecessor. Only speculating;) -

Ah well do I go with the likes as um pahars and co and say he ****e and worry about who signed him fact is I dont care who signed him as long as he can do a job for us. Incidently the fact we have signed him would suggest we are not as deep in the **** financially as we are made out to be, unless this week we see the sales of Surman , lallana and davis to pay the debts and afford to pay off some of our debts. Did anyone notice it was forcast who was in gaol for saints against upjest fc. where was Davies House hunting by any chance? -
Crouch maybe a fan I would question his credentials as a businessman in respect of Saints. He maybe good in the external world of business and does well for charitable organisations. that i will not fault. How ever I question his ability as a board member when it come to Saints. I witnessed his antics at the recent AGM and his lack of decorum and integrity sadly went out of the window that day as far as I was concerned. I would prefer if possible that all three walked away from the clubboard room as while all three are involved there will continue to be unrest at the club. The one thing I do admire about leon is like me he is a hugely passionate saints fan like myself unlike the other two. I give him total credit for him taking his passion to the heart of the boardroom but he lets himself down when he makes his angst against the board be known in public.

Al De Man What ever happened to the Chinese club we formed a link with? I believe some Kung Fu it away when it was still sizzling in the wok:) -
Did MLT make any comments re JP during the sky sports programme yesterday? I had to go out. guitar lesson and the darts match. I actually won my league game for a change, lets hope saints fortune changes as well. I pleased for Nathan scoring a goal yesterday maybe he should have been sent to Ill grab (Abu grabe) that Gaol in bagdad. Its irony alright Colin. wrought irony bars at the window of the Gaol

Soap or 24 series 8 where jack Bauer when you need him -
A Well written Post Duncan I have long thought that wilde was a spindless slimy creature from the day I first met him. I think he is the biggest problem at the club and the sooner he resigns the better. I had heard similar stories to what you refer to Duncan. Is he still best of Pals with LM? or did they fall out as well?

Fos i guess he must have an early morning postee round to attend this ? -
Is it possible that the news posted by Forester is not actual administartion but a CVA Saints enter a Voluntary Agreement - legally binding between a (basically insolvent) company whereby the creditors and the company agree a schedule of repayment of debts rather than sue the company and tip it into insolvency. therefore we avoid administration and the 10 pts deduction

sounds like a skate or even gadaymak posting as forrester

Oh great ,more waste to the tax payer . the polis will be rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of unexpected overtime. I wish there was a better way to protest against lowe but there isnt -
I think longshot is still posting but under a different name. I wondered if it was nineteen canteen or what ever. I think long shot is a he not a she is is being intimated, judging by the tone of a couple of PM's I had from him. But who ever it is , it someone close to the leon crouch entourage

Too many to remember, Barry Hornes screamer in the cup. But I haveone special memory and that is MLTs goal in our last league game at the dell against arsenal. Hecomes on back to the goal and scores a goal only Matt can score to give us a 3 -2 win over the arse
-
Hypnosis waht an excellent idea lets employ a hypnotist at the club and get our forwards hypnotised to score goals

The Fans are always looking for someone to blame but if you pore down through all the details there wasn't one catastrophic mistake or decision made. Football is a results and finance driven business. If the results don’t go well then the club suffers. This is not a unique situation for Southampton FC . It occurs to Newcastle, West Ham, Charlton; Coventry etc only a few clubs are immune. From such problems mainly the big 4. Normally the fans will either blame the chairman or the Manager "There has been about a dozen or so errors/decisions’ made, which put together created this mess we now find ourselves in. No one person was to blame. I had hoped that the consortium that took over from Lowe would have given us a better future but alas not errors of judgement were abundant when they took over. "I think most ordinary people if they put themselves in the place of the various personalities we have or had in the boardroom would have had significant problems in turning saints around when there is little or no money coming into the club. I’m NO Lowe apologist, just someone who can see the wider picture to what is happening to football per se. We are one of a number of clubs deep in the mire premiership included. I see bucket full’s of cash have been ploughed in to Coventry City following the SISU takeover (Not) they are in a bigger mess as us. (My Coventry City Mate) Tells me he sympathises with me as his club are in a terrible mess "But I guess if we're looking for someone to blame perhaps it's the person who decided not to invest heavily in the transfer market after the cup final. Maybe it is those players we purchased that did not live up to expectation that let us down. Maybe it is the FA, Premier League and notably Sky who have screwed us for just concentration on the big 4 and champions league Whether rightly or wrongly Lowe has to take some responsibility as he is the Captain of the ship but so do the rest of the ships company including the players.
