I always thought the administrator was mean't to keep theire own council re the process of finding a buyer. IF what FF is alluding re the takeover then I am concerned about due process and summise that any of the following scenarios apply 1.either Mark Fry is being a little lose lipped about potential buyers 2. One of the prospective parties has had their nose put out of joint and are causing mischief 3. LLS has more influence over saints and the administrator than we give him credit for. 4 Any investor will need to do due diligence before making a formal offer No bun fight is going to put serious bidders off. 5. Potential investors would be put off from proceeding if they new any of the administrators team were leaking snippets of information to other [parties or groups of fans 6. Was the bunfight anything to do with crouch and richards seeking donations from those in the hospitality lounge last week 7 and finally who paid for the buns. I hope the club were not saddled withthe cost

Im a tad in agreement with NC's comments LM was a brilliant manager for us and transformed us in to an excellent footballing side under the mentorshop of Ted Bates. I am very grateful for that period for what he did on the playing side. How ever he has far from covered himself in glory since he became part of the management side in recent years. Even in his latter days as manager he waltzed round the backrooms as if he owned the club or was the RSM. a number of backroom staff were quite afraid of him and had to call him Mr McMeneny etc not laurie. He was a stickler for discipline not only with the players but all those involved with the club

Hamster I was wondering about that. as a small shareholder , I thought I would have had a letter from the administrators explaining everything to me. For those who understand these matters will all shareholders be written to or even asked to consider giving more money to SLH as suggested by LC?

I would like to see all the footage not just the bits realeased by the guardian. In one frame it shows a police dog and the handler next to the bystander in the forefront of the picture with motorbikes parked immediatley to the rear of the dog handler. Then the next shot use see this copper pushing the bystander from behind but there is no sign in the footage showing either the dog and handler or motor bikes. It would appear that a good few seconds have elapsed before this poor sod has been pushed. Something is not quite right. Having said that an individaul is dead and if the PC is found to have broken marshalling orders then he should be dealt with. I suspect theres a lot more to this story than has been released by the trendy lefty guardian. Time will tell I guess

Some good sites to see in the royal mile walking away from the castle. The peoples musem, toy museum etc as you walk towards the Holyrood palace. Some good pubs down that way as well. I particulalry like Bairds , Can't remember the names of the others down that way

Grassmarket area good on a friday /Saturday Night. I can recommend a good italian . Jolly's also some good real pubs in the back streets not far from waverly station. Rose street is okayish but its really for the tourists. but it may suit you down to the ground. Anyway loads to do. sight seeing eating drinking and some of the chicks are not bad looking either.

Its very comforting that 34 groups, consortia or individauls have intimated a bid for the club. I know there is loads of speculating going on about who is involved. but unlike the previous series of takeover rumours. this latest one could be the real deal. In so much as the real players are doing it with utmost decorum If Leon is involved he is acting very professionally and in a dignified manner. I think now that Rupes has had his say, we will now seeing him fading into the background with no more involvement with the club. I truly hope he has no intention of returning to the boardroom. He had his good points as well as his bad. But he actually does care about the club. Talking about people fading into the background what happened to those esteemed posters Long Shot and Waterloo saint.

Im just in from work and have only just seen the news. So it would appear from the first poster on this thread we should accept the points deduction as others also agree. While we are at lets ask for 17pts deduction or was it 30 luton got. Im now resigned to the fact the club is well and truly doomed. Im looking forward to playing in div 2 in 2010/11 season. But wait a minute The FL are consulting their legall bods over this matter. maybe the club haven't done anything wrong but in the eyes of some we have. What will anger me more than anything about this whole matter, is if the club go to the wall and no longer exists. If we get points deducted then thats life, whats more important is keeping this football club alive , we need to have a bit of hope in order to get the club of the ventilator and out of intensive care. Im going out tonight have to coach a hockey team and when I get in Im in to mind s whether to switch on the tv or this site to get the score. I might just go to bed and forget we had a game tonight. Did anybody else watch tonights Panorama about the Dubai building industry and slaves from the sub continent. It always amazes me how the BBC can suddenly turn up in a country and do undercover filming with out being caught. I don't think the BBC undercover Journo portrayed the average dwellings of some of the workers they were referring to. I was appalled at some of the conditions some were allegedly living in. With so much filth about why do these guys not get up and clean the place up instead of sitting on their backsides smiling for the camera. Im sure thereis some poor conditions over there. I know when I was over there a few years back there was some squalor but nowhere near as bad as being portrayed by the sensationalist jornos from the beeb Maybe Phil and ericofarabia may wish to comment

Mike I missed the first 35 minutes of the programme I based my opinion on the last 25 minutes. Leon is a saints fan I do not dispute that. Leon was no doubt speaking with his heart on his sleeve. I do not dispute what he is saying but his initial comments according to NickG was saying about moving forward instead of looking back.
