Oh and the Unvirsity of Portsmouth Diving Club are up here in Orkney an one or two of them are not exactly hot totty, but there again some of the women up here are not hot totty either:)

The other thing is, and I am not turning this in to a slanging match, as I am old enough now to go beyond that, but as a tourist Portsmouth offers a lot more than Southampton does as a city. Portsmouth has the Historic Dockyard with HMS Victory, The Warrior and the Mary Rose, The Tower and Gunwharf, the beach might not be the best, but it is still there, as that is to name just a few things. The thing is and please correct me, but I cannot think of many things or places that Southampton has that would attract people to visit the city, as I am sure there must be places, but they are not that widely known. This is fair enough Dino M but due to the navy scroats brought into the area many moons ago from across the nation, it also attracted some real minging women to the area, and god some of the women in skatesville are real *****rs :)

So how many of the stay away fans will still stay away? I hope now the L factor has gone some of you will return to watch the team

Wow . A topic about football, that must be a real positive sign for the club I quite like Mark Wotte. he was doing a difficult job in very difficult times. Im convinced he was well aware of what was happening behind the scenes. For me he tried to remain focussed on what was needed on the playing side even if players were being booed etc etc and did his best to motivate the players under extreme pressure. Don't forget the FL gave us 10 points deduction with 2 games remaining. that was a real killer blow to the team. Not Wottes fault I get the distinct impression that the players were totally behind him. even in recent days with no wages being payed. he played a pivitol role in motivating the players. I personnaly would like him to remain at the club not either as manager or assistant manager along with killer. Who ever is incharge will get my support as long as its not redknapp or any other skate reject

I suppose I am classed as a small creditor being a shareholder, Im not bothered about my shares. I bought two lots not for gain but so I owned and belong to part of the club. As far as I am concerned the shares have gone and I have some more saints memorabilia in the form of share certificates. Mr Fry dosent have to pay me anything, any money due to me must go directly to the buiding of the club/team and not the administrator or the other creditors

EBS1980 I understand your cautious approach about getting carried away but do you realise how close we came to going into oblivian. Im grateful we have a new opportunity in the offering, I shall not knock who ever takesover but will be eternally grateful once they have ownership of the club. And I do not have to keep hearing Mark Fry has given another deadline. We have almost got our club back. only 21 days to go before we know for sure.

I meant to add , I was not impressed early on about Mark Fry when I voiced my opinion I got well and truly shafted. How many times can somebody say so much but promise so little and as for exredind the already extend deadlines to even another extended deadline is beyond me. Do you think Paul scholes would do a good job for us next season.

IM really grateful for all the work some fans have done to try to secure our future. There are a number of unsung heroes out there and as Phil has intimated already they were not doing it for gain or self publicity but for the fact they had the one thing in common, they are dedicated saints fans. I hope Marc and Co get some genuine thanks for the work they have done in trying to save our club. Yes Marc has been ridiculed for previous take over bids. But I do hope the fans welcome him back to this forum should he choose top come back with out somebody pouring scorn on his posts I sincerely hope that one individaul has the balls to apologise to him for the slanderous and libellous insinutations they made last week. I am also grateful to Messrs Lynam and co for also working thier buts off to save of from the precipce of extinction. I have another wish , That this takeover really does come to fruition and it is the new dawn for the Spirit of Southampton returning. PS If anybody is going over to Dubai. I have a bottle og Highlandd park to pass to PHil, If anybody is can they take it over for me. If not Phil you will have to wait till your back over here.

Does anybody else think that all those pre season tours a few years back have had anything to do with the irish consortium taking over the club. I went o one pre season tour there it was such fun , So hopefully we can resume our links in southern ireland again once the new owners hand over their euros to mark fry. In dublins fair city where the girls are so pretty. I hope all the ITK's are correct about the Irish take over as I will be hacked off if I wake in the morning to find the foggy dew!!!!! JUst back from a good day of golf and decided to get up to speed on the take over stuff. Its interesting that the usual cohorts continue to make sniping comments towards the rank xerox man. Or is it a case the agents of bidder xyz are trying to smoke out who is involved with the fax man???? Oddly enough I heard a rumour a few weeks ago that Mssrs saltz and co were waiting for the bargainn basement sale to begin so they could get the club on the cheap. I dismissed it at the time as Mr Saltz is a well respected individual. but the comment has resurfaced. It could be true but then again it could be others parties trying to determine where saltz and pepper lie in the equation.
