Talking od abusive posts, I have been thinking about the sudden suggestions that both Pinnacle and the Marc Jacksons Takeover offers are back on the table if need be. Both have stated this to day Given the abuse all these parties have recieved in recent days you would have to ask why would they want to come out and state they are still interested knowing full well they would be in the line of fire for even more abuse. My theory is that a couple of things have happened, 1st the back tracking and Clarification by the football league. Why could they not say saints were not to be deducted further points last week or even before that? secondly has someone had a word in Mark Fry's ear about wanting to much for the club when in reality its not worth 15 million and perhaps he has realised this a intimated to previous interested parties that he may have been seeking too higher price and was scaring parties away Is it just coincidence that both pinnacle and MJ come back into the equation within such a short time of each other. I think not. Maybe The goal posts have been narrowed to ensure a more level playing field. I just don't believe MF and MJ would want to set them self up as stool pidgeons yet again.

Arts post Re Farmer I have read Art's post with interest and I guess there were a few abusive post directed at Farmer. I maybe a tad guilty as I certainly made a comment about giving him a wide berth in the future but that was more about the forever saints site and a particular little underground creature that frequents this site on a regular basis. Is it true that the person Morph refers to is Mr S Then why has he only waited till the 11th hour to make an offer or was he just waiting to rake around the bargin basement bin to pick up the club for the nominal £1. This was mentioned somewhile back thant everything will go to the wire and someone will come in and do a Ken Bates. As long as the club survives and I can buy a season ticket then I care little who buys the club now.

I don't care who takes over as long as the club survives and I can go and watch the team when ever I can get to a match Something has gone wrong with the pinnacle bid, I am not entirely convinced it is totally about the FL but I can understand the principles re the fairness of allowing to appeal. I think the main angst is the we keep hearing that the "deal will be done tomorrow" This was stated back in May here we are more than a month on and we are no further forward. In a couple of days Mark Wotte will be unemployed as well several players. If this is not resolved ths week, If and when we play Millwall we are likely to be trounced as we could have a very inexperienced and unfit team playing So far from being ungrateful we are more hacked of because we do not know if we will have a club to support.

I have re read TL latest missive on the Humble pie thread Firstly can the Mods confirm that the poster using the tony lynam name is genuine or is it somebody using the name to wind up us up. After all it would not be the first time this has happened remember Help Rhonda and who could forget Tommac!!! I still have a number of doubts as to whether the pinnacle offer is a very serious offer . There are a number of holes in what is being said. the only saving grace is MLT latest comments that gives us all some hope. Any way back to TL.s post. I find it strange that He Has come on here and his post was directly to Guided Missile. There is a similarity from what I can remember about tommac getting in a strop when people started to slag him of at the time. So why didnt TL just send a PM to GM? I wouldn't be suprised if Fitzhugh was also targeted by Pinnacle re his thread yesterday that led to the removal of that thread. Duncan is not the only person to have seen the contents of the email. Also what I find disturbing is the following sentence from TL "Ultimately, anyone can now trump us and steal this from under our feet. We don't believe that the vast majority of fans want that, and we firmly believe that we can really be what you all want as a new owner". Why put this in a general email as it sounds like he is appealing directly to the fans to influence the Administrator into saying that we do not want the Swiss or any group taking over and that we the fans must insist its Pinnacle or nothing I really do not know if Pinnacle are the group that we fans want apart from MLT as Chairman. If Pinnacle are professional and above board and are so sure their bid will succeed then there is no need to keep appealing to the fans on this forum. I will still give them the benefit of the doubt but if nothing is signed either tomorrow or tuesday and yet more excuses are given for the delay then I suspect this forum will go into melt down. Tony give us something substantial re what is actually going on instead on playing mind games. I suspect we will see a number of our better players leaving the club this week or next and who would blame them.

If the news is to be believed that Pinnacle will sign the deal on monday or tuesday Dose that mean the staff at the club have now been paid or will they have to wait a few more days before all the legall transactions to be completed etc etc. PS did they ever find the Missing cat?

Oh this red herring again Deal could be completed within hours according to Meridian. Meridian said the same thing back at the end of May. Either Mark Fry, TL or Meridian are being economical with the truth

If this deal goes to rat **** will we be looking to put Mark Fry and TL in the same category as Barry the Briefcase by any chance. Pinnacle have had a lot longer than the 21 days exclusivity to sort out all the problems. I am getting concerned and extremely worried that Mark Fry is procrasitinating yet again in this whole process. Does he not realise not only will the creditors get nothing niether will he if he is uncapable of making a decision re the club either tell pinnacle to put up or expunge them from the equation. Also Is it not time to appoint another Administrator Or is Mark Fry a Skate in Disguise and will be come the New Le God of Fratton Park when we Saints cease to exist.
