  1. I ould rather be a drama queen than a hypochondriac ******s I think I have a headache comming on :cool::cool:
  2. I wish I hadnt bothered posting something as AP was speaking to Radio Solent. Hadnt realised (How niave of me) that someone would put such a negative spin on what he was saying. I for one was impressed with what he had to say even if some of you were not. I particularly like the idea of a winning dressing room comment AP has not taken charge of the team yet but we already have the odd person criticising him. Oh for a unite fan base.
  3. Joseph Mills stating the obvious . All lads excited with AP met him to day. Hopefully preparign for the future Mils wants to be part of the future need to impress and take opportunity. Can't type that quick
  4. Sorry Black Sea Im trying to give my interpretation on what he meant about us having premiership fans. I got the impression he was more than impressed with the welcome and support he and ML got but also te support throughout the game.
  5. He was stating we have a premiership ground. Premiership training facilities and made a very positive comment about us the fans I beleive what he was saying is that our fans make give enough noise and support to the club that is the same as Premiership games. meaning the crouds are a lot less vocal in the championship and our league. Also stated wanted he winningdressing room not just the players but also the suppport staff. hasnt met the staff behind the scenes yet just the players
  6. Says we have premiership fans. need to bring one or two players in, need to win in pre season to get the winning habit.
  7. Asaintforever Do you have a problem with Mark Wotte being at the game to day then?
  8. Radio 5 were doing a telephone interview with Kelvin just before ten this evening. He was very bouyant. Stated that he thought long and hard about the move to west ham but for personal reasons , his family and his love of saints he turned down the move. He said there is a real buzz amongst the players, the staff at SMS about our future, He admits its gong to be a hard league to play in etc etc Real positive stuff. Apparrently some player had this nightmarish sweater at a Wimbledon and Kelvin Nicked it and wore it in a training game covered in mud etc. I don;t no who the guy was but he reckoned Kelvin owes him a new sweater. Anyone else hear it, He was on about 950 pm tonight
  9. I totally endorse what Nellie and redbul are saying stick with only want you know angle. Doing what you think is the right thing at an accident can do more harm than good. FAW is okay for minor injuries but the life threatening stuff needs to be left to the professionals. If you are fully confident of resus techniques then fine if not get someone who is. My point previously is that some folk who are FAW do it for the money and havent got a clue what to do if there was something more serious than a paper cut.
  10. The five that died were on a routine footpatrol in the sangin area when they were hit. According to MOD they were not involved in the current initiative against the taliban. It is very sad when any serviceman dies in armed conflict yes the media hype it up as they have their own agenda . They don't have to focus on iraq anymore and instead have a new challenge with afghan. I take smirking saints point however Soldiers are getting shot. What ****es me off with the media is they don't report the figures for injured servicemen for afghan. now that would be a story the media could sieze upon. But either they do not want to focus on the wounded or the MOD are too scared to publish those casualty figures!!!! oh and they are not in single figures. Thank god our servicemen have first class medical facilities over there.
  11. Asked Elton John, he had it done a while ago.
  12. Thanks to those that were at the game for your reports. I think it is to early to say how the team will shape up. Remember many of these early warm up matches are about getting match fit etc etc. This year has been more difficult than usual due to the situation at the club. Its easier to chastise Adam Llanna bu this is his first outuing since his injury and he's no way ready to return to full on football. Don't read to much into these initial warm up matches. judge their performance on the games against Hearts and xjax and lets see what the new manager brings to the side. Buying players is not necessarily the answer. Lets get a team that works for each other and has the motivation to keep fighting until the final whitsle has gone
  13. FAW will not really help in that situation. Some people just do the course for the money. If your in a local authority you get about £300 a year. they do a one day refresher every 3 years. Now they rarely do with anything more than issue a plaster for a paper cut!!!! Now back to the poor child. The main thing is not to move the child or injured person incase of spinal or neck injuries unless they are iminent danger from other hazards.. In my other vocation C spine is the key area in trauma cases followed by ensuring the casualty has a clear airway etc. Then you can deal with bleeding and breaks. The vial organs arer the most important aspects. obvioulsy if it is a broken leg anfd the casualty is screaming out. you know they are breathing by the noise they are making , so can you can deal with the broken leg once you are sure there are no other serious injuries internal or otherwise. They dont teach you that sort of stuff on a FAW course. We had a somebody collapse at work the other week . The FAW bod didnt have a clue so they called me only because I am Advanced trauma Life support trained./ Now if I hadnt had those skills I would probably be as confused and distressed as the bus driver in the accident.
  14. I have got mine. I will not get to many games , but I have one. So I hope all those that said they were going to but a season ticket keep to their promise. Spoke directly to David Luker, very helpful and was very suprised I travel from a far. By the way we have Leibherr cranes up here, Heddle have just taken ownership of a brand new one. its light blue but all the important parts like the crane etc were in red and white. made me smile
  15. Dicko I will be very worried if Oldknow is tapped into certain posters veiws on this site . If hes paying specific attention to Stanley or what ever the jerk calls himself and Alpine , then we are in for a rough ride. After the Annoucement on wednesday about the takeover, I really thought the spirit of Southampton had returned so how come lastnight I feel very deflated following the dismissal of Wotte, maybe it is the vicious comments some fans are already making about wotte and co. PS I do not trust Oldknow. He will need to convince me he has changed his spots and was not the nasty condescending person I dealt with in his previous time with the club. Just be very worried if Hone and co return as well!! Wotte has gone another Chapter has been written in saints history so I wait for the next managerial incumbant to come in and get behind Thanks Mark for being so professional and dignified in the way you conducted yourself in recent weeks
  16. I wouldnt want the skates to go out of business either, but I know somebody with a large truck that could shift fratton park in one trip. It will save Pompey Council a fortune and there would be little damage done to the environment.
  17. I think we need to be prudent over the next few weeks. Wotte will know what he wants, we certainly do not want any journeymen thinking they can make a few bob from us as we have a rich owner. We need good players who are committed to playing for Saints nothing more and nothing less. I would certainly go for JPS.
  18. NC I would also recommend Diary of A Season Laurie Mac Home and Away Micky Channon Fulltime at the dell
  19. With Out doubt . although I will not get to many games , I am buying one again. I shall be sitting alongside some esteemed posters on here
  20. I understand Corp Halfwit has been demoted He's now called Private Dimwit
  21. Maybe Micky Fiasco will be interested in getting a premierside to takeover. Pay up Micky Pompey need You
  22. Just seen Duncans thread so I will move this from the other thread The Skates up here are not happy with our takeover" Seems they have thrown their toys (JCB's) out in a huff "Police are appealing for the owner of two black and yellow children's JCB diggers to come forward and identify their property". The sit-on toys were recovered from the playpark area of Lynn Crescent, Kirkwall, following an incident on Tuesday, July 7.

Its the best I can get up here Happy Days Oh Happy Days
  24. Do Itake it that the picture of the train will be going back in the Boardroom Anyway Fantastic news. I for one will be celebrating tomorrow night
  25. Whyitey Grandad wrote 'Speaking from his semi-detahced home'??? Does he live with his mum too? Several of the posters on this forum live in semi detached houses with their parents. They also seem to know how to run a football club and manage the side. So basically Mike Fialka and this Richard Williams are no different from most potential football owners. After all Paul Allen lives on a Boat , cant his folks afford a semi detached Home
