Ok Jeff leopard I will call you a naive guardian-reading black lesbian feminist but you could always change your spots:cool: By the way My commentt about sadam hussien was a tongue in cheek comment I have seen unreleased footage of what he and his henchmen did to innocent civilians. While I am not sure what this iraq enquiry will lead to, what I can say is there will be no enquiry in iraq of how the sunnis and shias kill each other on a regular basis. You ask any servicemen who has been there how they can tell whether it is a sunni or shia body they happen to come across.

Iam not sure this will provide a real answers as to what went on. Some people are no longer around , there will be others who will jump on the band wagon of right or wrong. Even if they find against blair and his cohorts, there will be those who will still claim its a whitewash Take the upteenth bloody sunday investigation and the report has not been published yet, and has cost absolutely millions The report will no doubt find sadham hussein innocent of all the claims made against him he probably will turn out to be a tree hugging pacifist by the panel

A Lance Corporal being charged with desertion
Viking Warrior replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Lounge
Spot on .com That has angered most of my mates the fact he has blabbed to the press. he has lost all respect with the RLC. Oh by the Soton Joe , I have been in a few hots spots during my service career, I signed up to be a medic and I also had to carry a weapon or a pistol depending on what I was doing. The weapon gun was for protection of the casualties I had to deal with. the pistol was for my own protection when I was in NI. So get your facts right sotonjoe about people signing up before slagging servicemen off, Even if your comments were directed at the jack tar:rolleyes: -
A Lance Corporal being charged with desertion
Viking Warrior replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Lounge
Okay as someone that has had a considerable time in the forces Yes he should be court martialled for dessertion He signed up and and should obey Military Law and Queens regs. Like all servicement who desert or go awol they have to face military justice. This particular individual is milking the media frenzie and the looney left wing and liberals of our society to help justify his desertion. He was warned not to go on the anti war marches while awaiting trial, but being the knob he is he disobeyed that orderas well If he didnt like the military that much he could have purchased his discharge but no the coward ran away. I have no sympathy for him and he deserves the punishment that is comming his way, but I suspect he will get off with it due to his new found liberals and anti war bods. -
Ron I accept the point you make re 19c but he seems to just continually harp on about this issue whether it is this thread or another. Ok the case was not proven as they say up here but equally Matt was not charged so had no chance to defend his comments , yes he was a tad niave I think it is time to lay 19c comments to rest. I am sure he will post something equally provocative in the weeks ahead, Mike

Nineteen I can see why people are getting mighty ****ed off with you "If the CPS decided that there was 'not a case to answer' and completely exonerate MLT " You are really being stupid in persuing this matter. Clearly you have a problem with Matt. can you just let it go. Instead concentrate your crusade on real criminals who have got away with murder in the past How about trying to get Martin McGuniess charged with multiple accounts of murder . I think you would probsbly get a lot of support for that crusade. Oh you come across as holier than thou but I bet you have more than a few skeletons in your cupboard? you do not want revealing

I see the echo are reporting that Andy Oldk now has left by mutual consent and that the club are not planning to replace him

Some good Points made nineteen "SoI hope this backfires on that odious newpaper and Mrs James (sic) who IMO have sullied the memory of every other brave servicemen and women who have paid the ultimate price and those who grieve their loss with a hell of a lot more class and dignity. Those brave men and women knew what they could be exposing themselves to when they joined up just like their loved ones so what makes Mrs Janes so special" I was saddened by what she was saying, I too thought she was being disrespectful to all those service personnel who have lost their lifes or were injured. Yes shes angry, But she seemed to have an answer for everything , Lack of equipment. She hadto buy her son boots. Well sorry what ever boots he was wearing would not of prevented the hideous injuries her late son sustained. Then theres the Helicopters. There were other casualties in that incident that took her son, While there may have been a lack of helicopters to get her son out , It is a very hospitable place to try and land a chopper in. Not only are the taliban lying in wait to ambush but there will have been other hidden IED's. Oh and dont't forget the legacy of the russians who have left un marked land minds A couple of years ago some lands were badly injuried and a couple died due to Russian land mines. When the chinnook came in its downdraft triggered even more terrible injuries. Initially it was one soldier that lost a leg not several Mrs janes would be wise to be a little more discreet about the comments she makes re her son As for the injuries, they sound horrendous and the MERT on the seen would have done their best to keep him a life, even if he had been flown back to Bastion there was probably little chance of him surviving, If you don't get to the severed femoral artery in time there is little hope. Its a shame and shes entitled to her angst at loosing her son. she needs to be more dignified in remembering her son and remember there are many more families who have lost sons and daughters or now have seriously disabled sons and daughters. We will remember them

Yes I have lost a grand but i gave up on my shares some while ago. but its not the end of the world.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, I just don't get the enmity towards him. Of course your not being argumentative just being a good sarcastic saints fan as usual
-
Benji I take it your a typical Mark Fry fan given the way you are chastising me. Mark Fry signed the letter. The point I am making is the poor quality of the letter. Not that I lost money as I brought the shares to support the club not to make money , but then that sentiment is probably lost on you
-
Poker champion The letter is ****e see my post above unprofessional and uncaring. Would have preferred a letter from Gordon Brown even if his writing is appalling and he can't spell at least he cares unlike the **** Mark Fry
-
Mark Fry what an utter C***. That is the one of the most insulting letters I have ever recieved. And that C*** gets an award for delaying and screwing up saints by believing that Micky F was going to be our saviour. He writes three lines " I write further to my appointment as Joint administrator of the company on 2 April 2009. Please be advised that there are insufficient assets in this matter to enable any distribution to shareholders. Should you require any further information do not hesitate to contact Alex Sterling of this office Mark F***ing fry What a poor excuse for an apology unprofessional letter and photocopied I have lost about a 1k , but hey thats life but I would have expected a decent and professional letter not something as cheap and nasty as this. Mark Fry. To me you are a total tosser and tried to sell Southampton Short big time. At least Marcus had the decency to call your bluff. You skate loving ****

What we need to see is the banks calling in all the debts from the big 5. liverpool chelsea etc Then we see what the FA do about it. Problem throw millions at them while penalising clubs like ourselves

Great win cheered me up no end I was just wondering how our new owner must be feeling re his investment Did anybody notice his reaction to aother great performance from the team

Sorry Kingsland but the 15 minutes I saw, Dimbleby was being more aggressive with his questions than usual. He was as bad if not worse than jack straw and some of the audience. if he had been any good he would have curtailed some of the questions to include the Postal strike etc. but he didnt Oh and we lost another soldier in Afghan yesterday. did they discuss afghan and the election run off. No Sorry JD was a complete tosser who was allowed to indulge in the badger baiting last night.
-
Only watched the first 15 minutes before I fell asleep so can't comment on all the comments that were made However I was concerned at the amount of bullying and victimisation that was going on on Griffin , Even Dimbleby was giving him a good kicking. Dimbleby has lost stacks of credibility on handling the chair lastnight. We should allow for free speech and democracy but last nights programme was akin to a bunch of baying wolves salivating over their prey I thought we lived in a civilised society but clearly not. Is it okay to victimise and bully someone because they have differing viewpoints.? Clearly judging by the audience and certain panel members its ok to do so. Oh Im not sticking up for Griffin , but if your going to have a debate have one not the crap that was served up lastnight

What Tragic news my Condolences to Ron and family r.i.p chris I can still see Ron Towering above the Newcastle defence in the Texaco cup I have never seen anybody soar so high and connect his head perfectly to the ball God Bless

Is anyone concerned about Middlesbrough...
Viking Warrior replied to ozzmeister's topic in The Saints
Nope , not worried at all . AP red and white Army I think AP could well turn out to be the next LM or TB. A manager at the club for many years to come. -
If you think your being abused Alpine then you should contact the duty social worker. There might be some compensation in it for you
-
What a good win onwards and upwards. Lambert will not be the only one hitting the bar tonight I guess

I was also aware of Sullivan being interested especially the purchase of the stadium aspect. Well before the pinnacle bid was even mentioned. Also was aware that gold was also sniffing around from another source But at the end of the day we have ML and co to thank for sdaving our club

Was this not one of John Arlotts commentaries "Or the famous one "the batsman's Holding the bowler's Willey"

A number of reason for not throwing a sickie 1. I want to wait till i am really ill 2. I suffer from presentism (IM a work aholic) 3 I have to deal with sickness in the workplace and some of the excuses are laughable.
