  1. Must have been either immaculate conception or atrificial insemmination. Who would want to **** somebody that big?
  2. Somethings never change . Like us and no doubt other forums every club has its ITKs "Just heard from a pretty reliable source within the club that Pompey will be entering the club into administration tomoz. I know that there is loads of ITK pants on here so believe what you will, though I would say a good 80% of what I've heard from this source, thus far, has materialised, though we will just have to wait and see." It must be Lifelongafrikaaner!
  3. I like Westons summary of current events. very informative and no doubt very close to the truth as to what is happening at skatesville
  4. Im not sure if I have posted on this thread previously. I thought I could show some compassion towards the skates and their predicament. but I can't Some skate colleagues were rubbing their hand with glee at our potential demise so why should I feel any sympathy. For all of Rupert lowes wrongs at least he paid the tax bill. Skates don't only have Tax/vat debts to HMRC but a whole list of debtors. What about the catering department at their training ground. I hear they owe a small fortune to them small beer in terms of the HMRC debt but massive to the catering company. I think storrie and co have pulled the wool of the premier league bods as well as the rest of the footballing world. Its about time the premier league franchise suffered the odd casualty, They might wake up to the fact there is more to football than just the frigging premisership! Back to skates is the remember last year when we all anticipated an annoucement on a Friday. Do the skates have Monday as their preferred judgement day. is March the 1st not a monday? Maybe they do have an african sponsor . its possible that some skate fan has touched base with a nigerian or ghanian princess whose billionaire father was killed in a plane crash and struck lucky Oh for Katilinc thanks mate your comments re " Lifelongafrikaaner?" thats mega funny best laugh for a while
  5. Great performance. sounded like a good all round team effort. onwards and upwards. I see its getting tight at the bottom of the league . Is the BBC table correct?
  6. Didnt get Franny but got Kelvin Davies
  7. Dell days your not alone I have the same symptoms. perhaps we should start an insomniacs saints forum Even the sleeping pills I have only last 2-3 hours
  8. IM not sure of the facts. I was watching a programme the other day inconjunction with the match, The TV programme concerned mention how we became scummers and showed some old footage of alledged strike breaking in the late 30's. It easy to dub over some footage and say they were sotonian dockers, To me the footage just showed dockers going about their everyday work No placards Unions flags or anything. But the one thing for me is that the story is totally fabricated. whehter it was the 30'3 or the 50's We are talking about a Navy Dockyard. no strike would have been allowed if it had occurred then the navy would have loaded , unloaded their own vessels. Thats what the services did then and still do.
  9. The local tonybell icecream company can put ina bid They like a crumbling base with the main infrastructure in melt down. they could probab;ly afford to offer a 99 plus a sprinkling of nuts for HMS poopey Maybe Avram grant has been having clandestine meeting with his thai contacts in unit 1 in order to seek new investment.
  10. Serious Buyers in the wings > Poppy**** Mind you a navy mate has told me paul Allens boat is moored next to HMS illustrious!
  11. Revolution Saint Im sure if your sister had signed her contract even if there was a restricted covenant included . I think the tribunals would have found that it was too restricted. I could understand if you were working for toyota and you had nissan on your door step then the restricted covenant would apply. But if you had all the car manufacturers located in one area , then the Tribunals would say that is too restricted. Case law has proved that . I just wish I could recall the actual case. > We had to unravel that case as part of the MA in Employment law I was doing. My fellow students and I succeeded but it took a lot of liquid refreshments to come to a satisfactory conclusion!
  12. Its an interesting contractual arrangement the company have. based on the little information provided. It would suggest that your company has you by the short and curlies. But from an employment law aspect it certainly does not seem fair or conducive to good working practice. Do I take it Bridgey your working either in the insurance or finance sectors? It sound very much the unhanded approach the Prudential take on employee relations!
  13. MY Grandfather served in the Artillary as part of the BEF My father was in the paras , served in Palestine and a few years later changed to the pay corp. My Girlfriends Father served with the Hampshire/ Berkshire regt got wounded in Italy Her Uncle served on HMS Martin as a stoker during the Artic conveys, it then deployed at the end of september 42 from Orkney and 10 days later he was killed of tangier when a u boat struck HMS Martin
  14. 19c its a shame you can't use yer head to think about what you are posting instead you move your head and alienate 70% of posters on here.
  15. Give it a rest 19c your getting extremely tedious.
  16. The echo and its greenhorn journos must be wetting themselves reading the forum. It seems to me in recent weeks they are only getting their saints news via this web site either that or making them up. Ian Murray = is a knob and has never liked Saints from what I can recall
  17. 19NC the point I was trying to make is the documentary on Muslim taxi drivers was very informative. I think its a series. On one hand you have a a group of Female Muslim lasses learning to drive wearing the Burka due to their strict Muslim faith also the driving instructor also has to wear the Burka of Hajib to cover all but the eyes. Yet in another case you have the westernised muslim who while still wearing a sari was being instructed by another female english driving instructor. Both spoke excellent english. I think your wrong to compare the hoodies and yuff with these learner taxi drivers. The hoodies have little respect for anybody yet these lasses wearing either the burka or hajib were respectful. Mind you old folk getting in to a taxi with a driver who has all but their eyes covered might feel a little intimidated. It dosent make them racist now does it 19NC?
  18. Maybe not but one could argue there is a similarity between being able to speak a specific language I have only seen the echo story nothing more substantial so I am not in a position to judge one way or the other what the real issues are in this story. After all the echo are rarely economic with the truth. So is Perry Mcmillans cab festooned with communist and che guevara regalia as is being reported.?
  19. Bring back Latin
  20. Wow 19C you certainly have a blinkered and unfair veiw of peoples opinions Like in all walks of society there majority of people are good honest people but occassionally there is the odd bad apple and the same can be said of Taxi drivers. Taxi drivers tend to have there own patch for trade and low and behold if pick up a fare in their turf expect repercussions. Take York Station That is allocated to a specific Taxi firm. Its okay for other taxis to drop off passengers but not pick passengers up. I saw the argy bargy when one tried to pick up a passenger. not pleasant Anyway. 19C are you saying that it is racist to have a sticker saying you speak English? What about tour guides should they be removed from their coats saying they speak, spanish , german french etc? But then your one of Comrade Mcmillans disciples. I take it you dint watch the Muslim Taxi drivers programme last night very interesting to see women learning to drive wearing burkas.
  21. Oh nothing like the journos sticking together is there. The Daily Express a newspaper scrapping the bottom of the barrel looking for stories to print. They must be in cahoots with the echo. yesterday they printed the Taxi drivers in soton and the ability to speak English story. So tomorrow will it be a story about Marcus's billions
  22. One thing for certain Alpine is you will not see him because you do not go to games> Youu are really a moaning old git at times Alpine. see your other threads
  23. Hadnt realised we were in for Scakel I thought Danns the man !
  24. The echo are still playing mind games and being total C***s re NC They didnt need to put the following in the article - Tossers "Mr Cortese's subsequent interview was broadcast on the same station, which has a commercial deal with the club, today. Mr Cortese, has given interviews to Radio Solent recently. When approached about the speculation surrounding Mr Cortese, who does not speak directly to the Daily Echo at present, a spokesman for Southampton Football Club refused to comment. "
  25. Could Jack Withshire be on his way to us? Arsne wenger has stated he is going to loan the player out by the end of the month. Saints would be an ideal place to come and improve his skills. he is potentially better than mellis
