I would be interested to know how the FA plan to address the skates should they go on to win the FA Cup knowing full well they were playing and trading whilst insolvent. Would the the FA award the cup to the runners up as the winners had potentially cheated their way to victory, Comming Birmingham put the skates to the sword

Just supposing the PL renage on giving the skates a -9 point dedudction does that mean saints and others can sue the footballing authorities for inequality eqaully if they are given leave to appeal then surely we would have a prima facia case against the FA league etc. You cannot treat one club differently from another even if they are in the premier league

I heard the interview twice. I think blackmore was very amateurish with his line of questions. AP did sound a little downbeat but was saying the right things even stated how good the fans were today. When Blackmore asked lee barnard questions he again was probing what the dressing room was like. Stupid sort of question when the team had just won and barnard had scored twice. I suspect solent are trying to conjur up a non story re AP and NC maybe to find a distraction from the real crap down the road. I am loving Gordon Brown quote in the times article. Some good pubs in the royal mile. better still head down to the grassmarket area some great clubs and pubs in that vacinity. The Blue Blazer is or was good for real ale etc. Also a lot of clubs in the toll cross area just up from St Giles Church Haymarket a few decent pubs and restuarants. I normal have a mealsome where in the haymarket before heading to toll cross and grassmarket areas. If you fancy dry skiing head up to the pentland hills Leith well as your having a sort of Ghey weekend away then that will not be your scene!

As a law abiding tax payer. does PFC's imminent step into administration mean they will not have to pay their due taxes or are the HMRC classed as a footballing creditor. Also as PFC are an insolvent company, wouldnt it be just our luck if they went on to win the FA Cup. The PL and FL and FA need to clean up their act very quickly. This whole PFC saga stinks.

Can someone clarify (Ron) if they go into administration and only 75% of creditors get paid, Does that mean sol campbell will not get paid the 1.7m for his brand image rights. Poor poor lad if he misses out. My concern will be for the caterers and small businesses who could miss out on recieving monies owed to them meanwhile the skates get out of jail free and start afresh with a 9 point deduction and no debts.
