  1. Im sure I read something similar the other day and he is staying with us next season. I think its a ploy to get fans to buy the new saints magazine
  2. I did a 29 mile walk yesterday in preparation for my Help the Heroes 185 mile bash at the end of june. Fantastic views bu the terrain was hard, bog, heather, bedrock deep coch grass and then 7 miles on a road and subsequently I have to huge blisters on the pad of my feet. My Treatment was to bust the buggers and inject them with iodine and methylated spirit. Fecking sore and I had to bite on a towel Anybody out there got any less painful and barbaric methods of geting blisters to heal mega quick? I was wearing 1000 mile socks with a pair of army dogs over the top.
  3. I know its a stupid idea but just supposing we purchased all the skates 25k allocation of wembley final tickets turned up in our red and white regalia etc and sang saints songs all the way through the match . Their players would probaly run of the pitch or play very well knowing that there we were world class fans in the stadium. and not the usual knobheads who support them. Its only a thought but I will get my coat
  4. Even more breaking news Adam offers eve apple for sex
  5. watermarks
  6. Its bad up here they have closed our airport and now we do not have ferries or airplanes so I will not be able to make this weekends game
  7. Im no accountant but i can't see Aruna Dindanes salary included in the above figures and the transfer figures do not appear to include the £4 million owed to Lens for when he was due to paly x amount of games. I know the skates have been given permission to play him in the final but was this a case of delaying the £4 milllion owed ? Please advise
  8. Alpine So what if I have been a member of the saintslist for many years? or is it a case you got banned and have thrown your teddy in the corner. You clearly have a gripe against the saintslist. Its not a secret club for your information but does have rules and repect for each other Oh out on interest what is it you do apart from moaning about our managers?
  9. Whitleygrandad I hope your cruise goes ahead. Im sure it will but I have just seen that the Northlink Aberdeen to Lerwick boat via Kirkwall is not going to stop at Kirkwall for a number of days due to volcanic ash. On top of that the Government has commandeered the Scrabster to Stromess ferry for a few days to ferry people from Bergen back to Aberdeen which means we are basically starnded. there is another ferry Catamaran but that is prone to breakdowns. So according to northlink ferries have been directly and indirectly affected by the volcanic ash. Im hope the cloud passes as there is know way I will get to see our last couple of games. Bloody icelandic volcanoes.
  10. Wes I was having a dig at Alpine . because there is never any reasonableness in his arguments. No acceptance that others may have a valid opinion. He using the F*** or variations in his post on numerous occassions. The point I was trying to make perhaps not as eloquently as I should have was, that there are people on here who have extremely important jobs professions. Whether Airline pilots, Doctors etc for which you need more than an ounce of common sense or a solitary cse/ NVQ in finger painting If your asking if I think he is thick possibly but its mainly about his constant negativity which I object about. Oh for Alpine what has the saintslist got to do with my comment. By the way I am on the saintslist and have been since it first started but rarely post. at least you know who is who on that list
  11. Alpine. you need to re tune the focus control in your brain and eyes. Its you that is obsessed and constantly posts negative and embarassing posts. I know sad old git and a number of other sensible and more than educated people on here you put down and are abusive to on a regular basis. I chuckle when you try to do battle with them but your efforts are so futile. SOG can more than take care of himself in a war of words. anyway if you have got time on your hands perhaps you can do the irony on the washing basket. but then you would only do some irony in order to have a debate of whether your washing basket was half full or half empty!
  12. The following was written by a female makes interesting reading Instead of throwing out this allegation, an employment tribunal ruled in her favour. Ms DeBique is in line for a payout of at least £ 100,000 (while aiming for £ 500,000) for loss of earnings, aggravated damages and hurt feelings. As a former major in the Royal Signals, I am outraged. The case makes a mockery of the essential concepts of duty and self- sacrifice, which our Armed Forces depend on. FRANKLY, the members of the tribunal are trying to apply the trendy, ultra-feminised values of a place like Islington Council to the unique environment of the British Army. Such an absurd approach can only damage our fighting capability. I do not write that as someone opposed to the progress of women in the Armed Forces. Having been in the Royal Signals for two decades and being the first woman to command a virtually all-male regular field force unit, I am delighted at the advances made by my sex. When I first joined at the age of 19, no mother was allowed to serve and any woman who fell pregnant had to leave within three months. I was only able to start a family myself once I had left the Army. After completing the 20 years of service that entitled me to an Army pension, I had enough security to embark on a pregnancy and end my military career. Throughout my time in the services, I fought battles against traditionalist prejudice. On one occasion, I was barred from taking a language course, as my commanders said it would be a waste of money, as I would probably soon want to have children and leave. But, by giving a firm commitment to remain in the Army for at least five years, I persuaded them to change their minds. So, I like to see myself as one of the trailblazers for women in the armed services. No doubt that is how the politically correct brigade would see Ms DeBique’s case, but the opposite is true. The tribunal decision has nothing to do with equality and everything to do with special treatment. It implies the Army should accommodate every mother, no matter how expensive or unreasonable the demands. In this case, the Royal Signals was even expected to arrange for Ms DeBique’s half-sister to be brought halfway across the world to provide childcare. The real tragedy of all this, however, is that this woman’s claims damaged the standing of many decent women soldiers, who know that in military circumstances duty to country and regiment must take precedence over individual rights. Any payout for Ms DeBique will cause Army recruiters to hesitate before taking on more young women, precisely because they could be seen as a potential cause of trouble and unable to do their jobs properly. I am in favour of fair treatment for women in the military, but the drive for absolute equality is hopelessly ill-conceived.

  15. Well Loagan airs turbo props plane are grounded and they only fly at low level yet there is no ash about up here. I could understan if they were flying at high altitude but they are not On a similar point are hot air ballons also banned if not maybe there is a market to fly folk across the uk. The inflight service would not be too brillian but at least you would get a window seat.
  16. Oh another thing Messrs Alpine for the other bunch of heroes I support The Help the Heroes charity I notice you didnt manage to comment on the above or was it a case you didnt read beyond the word suicidal in my post. I don't think you will be making a donation to my charity event by any chance? in aid of the HELP THE HEROES CHARITY
  17. Just read my post again Alpine you mong If you are so mentally unstable that you contemplate suicide over someone elses comments, I suggest the best course all round is for you to avoid this site. Completely. Where the feck did I was saying I was mentally unstable? your interpretation entirely. i was referring the the way the game was going on saturday look at the emotions of my fellow fans who posted through the course of the game. I wouldnt contemplate suicuide over somebody elses comments either. If anybody should avoid this site.its you. You are consistintly the most boring negative poster I have had the misfortune to read. now crawl back in your slimy wee hole
  18. There was a report that military flights were also grounded but I don't know if that was verifed. I think the aviation industry has gone ultra health and safety daft. I rememebe rflying out to muscat and oman a few years ago when there were violent sand storms about . we got diverted to malta and it was just as bad there but we were still allowed to land. Phil you will know do they still fly aircraft over there during a sandstorm or do they just ground the planes in Dubai
  19. I brought a green house last year, still trying to assemble it. why don't these manufactures produce decent instructions and diagrams. I think I should have invested in a poly tunnel Still it might be up this time next year.
  20. Sunrise re the hamburger parsley is that the mcdonald variation on just your simple lidl special hamburgers?
  21. I cant understand this being booked for taking your shirt off . well I can but here seems to be an inconsistency. I have recently watched two Premier games when a player took his shirt off but niehter were booked, One was a cheating bastard who scored against spuds last weekend . So my question is . Do you only get book in the lower leagues for taking your shirt off and that the rule does not apply to premier league players?
