Without going into tobelerones comments, I would say that AP has had a very good first term. he shows lots of promise but needs to reach out to acheive his full potential. He is strategically and tactically aware on the playing fields but just needs to know the precise moment when to tweak the team to make them work to optimum levels. I believe this will be a good term ahead of him and I believe he will achive great improvements this season The only downside has been his weakness in the Home economics and Art classes

Ken Monkou was a good player during his spell with us but I wouldnt not put him above the guys in the banner. Clubs are recentl back from their sabbaticals . Some of the premier league transfers have be ongoing for at least 2 months I can well expect a deluge of transfer in the next 4 weeks . Clubs will be assessing thei initial targets before making a firm bid . We have had the distraction of the world cup some clubs will be asked to keep a check on certain players to ensure they were not just a flash in the pan after all they do not want to waste their money

I was wondering how many of those that were at the game today also went to the Swiss games and farnboro Can anybody give an accurate assesment on how much you think the team have improved progressed fitness and skill wise since the intial game just over a week ago. The team clearly gelled while they were in switzerland that was self evident , May sue whistle and stve grant were at todays game I would like to hear their assessments.

Yes its very depressing when the suicide squads come out in force especially for a meaningless friendly. Being a member of another saints list. I was chuffed to bits to read the latest visit of the chernobyl kids from the Fan of the Year. AP and the players met with the kids at staplewood. Its matters like this that make pround to be a saints fan. Thanks John B Im aware what he is saying but I want to hear from him how he would manage the team if he were the manager. He is quick to have ago at our players and managers. Just trawl though his threads of recent years. Jus because we need a particular type of player dosent mean they will fit in to the team or understand the team tactics and understanding of players. Rooney , Gerrard Terry Lampard wright Philips do not gel in the England team but with in their respective clubs they are outstanding players. Its no good having a team of gifted violinists you need the support musicians to make them sound good The same goes for Saints.

The authorities need to be sacked. How the hell wasnt charged for the following offences Venables was arrested for affray in September 2008 but the charge was dropped. He claimed he had acted in self-defence, but was given a formal warning that his actions had breached the terms of his release. Mr Fitzgerald said Venables had also become addicted to drugs, including cocaine, and was cautioned for possession in December 2008. Seems he has had many chances to change. How many other offences have not be brought to the courts. Either the legal system is screwed up or they just like to protect these criminals by ensuring their human rights are not infringed.
