  2. According to a Tweet from Radio Solent Ramirez had to go to hospital in the week to reduce the pressure in his leg!! Also along with Clyne they are not now going on International Duty.

    Chris Baird

I can remember a game vs QPR where Jermaine Wright was playing Right Back and was having a mere of a game. Chris Baird started the game at Centre Back and ended up playing CB and RB , with Mr Wright getting in Chris's way most of the time
  4. http://www.premierleague.com/content/dam/premierleague/site-content/News/publications/handbooks/premier-league-handbook-2012-2013.pdf According to Page 27 of the Premier League Handbook (link to document above). Saints Alternative Kit No:2 is Shirts: Yellow Shorts: Blue Socks: White Or blue Goalkeepers Shirt: Green and/or grey
  5. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/2009/06/secrets_of_the_fixture_compute.html It may be a few years old now, but above is a link to a BBC blog on how the fixtures are determined, and I presume hasn't changed much.
  6. I saw him at the Blackpool away game last season, as he was walking from where the team coach was parked to the Ticket Office
  7. Its supposedly Yago Falue. Spanish under 21 player on loan from Spurs.
  8. I was wondering the same and checked out the following website http://www.pmfc.co.uk/auction.php and it looks like it is being held next Saturday, the 21st May at the Dell Cafe Bar in the Kingsland Stand.
  9. According to the football league website, we do have Mark Clattenburg as ref.
  10. Above is Notts County's Home Kit. If the Referee has a problem with our Kits clashing then when we play them at thier place, the only thing I can think off is that one of the teams will have to play in County's away kit which is blue.
  11. Well as I just mentioned on another thread, in my online history 2009-2010 the teams are listed in the order we played them at SMS, so we could be starting with Peterbrough and AFC Bournemouth as our first 2 home games of the season, and Finishing with Sheff Wed and MK Dons as our Last 2. But we will have to wait until the 17th June, to see how acurate it is.
  12. Bought my Season Ticket yesterday. Moved seats from block 41 to Block 36. Due to being vertically challenged and having a few 6ft + season ticket holders stood in front of me, I MIGHT see more of the game from my new seats. Also has any noticed that if you login to the Saints Online sales website and your check your online purchases it shows the relevant 2010/2011 tickets sales with the away teams in this order: Peterborough United AFC Bournemouth Bristol Rovers Swindon Colchester United Plymouth Argyle Brighton & H A Huddersfield Town Exeter City Carlisle United Walsall Hartlepool United Yeovil Town Charlton Athletic Brentford Rochdale Notts County Tranmere Rovers Leyton Orient Oldham Athletic Dagenham and Redbridge Sheffield Wednesday MK Dons When check my 2009/2010 Season Ticket order it shows the teams in the order we played them at SMS? It would be interesting to see if the above does become the order we play our home games at SMS.
  13. Crowded House - live on Radio 2
  14. I think the rules state we have to OFFER up to 10% to away fans, for league games. It is normally up to the away club if they want to take them all or not. I think The Police or local licencing authority can sometimes force the home club to offer a lower figure. I think Cleveland police have done this a few times when Middlesbrough have played Man Utd due to the Man Utd fans persistent standing. Also I think some home clubs offer the aways clubs staggered amounts of tickets depending on how many they think they will sell.ie at SMS we may offer blocks of 800, 1600, 2400 or 3200 tickets. This can be on a Sale or Return basis or pay for all up front basis.
  15. Both my grandparents on my Fathers side were too young to serve in WWII, but I think my Grandfather did his national service in the early 50's in the army somewhere in the Middle East. On my Mother's side both parents served in the RAF. My Grandmother was a radio operator at Middle Wallop and Swanage. My Grandfather was also a radio operator and served in Northern Africa and Italy. his brother in law was a navigator on the Lancasters.
  16. A few years ago it reported on Radio 5live (and it wasnt rthe 1st April) that some travel agents in the USA were advertising Manchester Airport as London Manchester Airport. Terminal 1 of Manchester Airport is 194 miles from Trafalgar Square according to the AA.
  17. I hope you didnt mean the last game of the season, when Man Utd sent us down as I thought it was Fletcher and Van Nistelrooy who scored against us. I think most Saints fans hate Keane because of his antics after the game when a few of the players came back out on to the pitch to do some warm down excercises.
  18. Only paying for 2mb so pretty pleased.

    Flybe

I hope this makes sense, but didn't someone say a few weeks ago, that FlyBE were a bit miffed about hearing Important things which were going on at the club (e.g Player arrests etc) in the Echo or on the TV news, when normally its the done thing for the club to call (the major sponsors etc) to give them the heads up with whats going on before it either makes the news or before they make a statement to the press.
  20. If my memory serves me correctly there is an Aux socket in the Glovebox. It sould be greyish in colour and if your sat in the passenger seat it should be on the right hand side of the Glove box. All your dad will probably need to connect the Ipod is probably a double ended 3.5mm headphone jack. He will have to change songs manually on the Ipod as you need to pay £50 extra to get the USB connector which allows you to use the cars radio controls to control the Ipod. I hope this helps
  21. £28.62 better off.
  22. October 1987 vs Everton. We lost 4-0
  23. Well what ever happened, it was Mclaren's fault and they will be have to start next season with -100pts.
  24. I watched a Star Wars documentary a few years ago and they said that it wan't just Harrison Ford who took lower wages in lieu of a cut of the films and merchandising profits, Sir Alec Guinness wasn't paid a wage at all for the 3 films, but negotiated a deal which was rumoured to have been for two percent of the gross profit of the films.
