I am in the northam, hence me stating what has been doing my head in. And i ma not trying to make out i am a John Lennon and have a load of imaginative songs up my sleeve, i was just venting my frustrations in regards to the current atmosphere in the northam. Something that i am entitled to do with out you disecting my post like Tony Robinson and the time team.

But its not funny and just embarassing, just like singing "we're going to win 6-5" when a team is 5-0 down. It may have been slightly amusing the first time a team ever sang it but its hardly original now.

Its been so embarassing in the Northam so far this season and the pinnacle of this was the muppets giving each pass an "ole" while we were 2-0 down to Rochdale. People have this idea that it is one of the top stands in Britain when in reality it is just 3 blocks which are 90% full of complete and utter mongs who sing the most predictable songs. There is never a chance for any new songs to catch on or witty banter with the away fans. I remember some cracking chants from the Archers and the first couple of seasons in the Northam. Now it is the typical "who are ya" and "come in a taxi". And why are there so many retards who dont understand football who will just boo if we are not winning at half time. Anyway its good to see that they have their seasonal scapegoat sorted in Puncheon taking over from James last year.

Can we sing kum-by-ya while linking arms and swaying from side to side?

You mention no one has seen Jackson play which is a valid point. However, how many games had people seen Lambert play before we signed him, or Papa Waigo before we signed him, or Hammond etc. The majority of players we sign are players who most fans would not have actually seen play and are going by reputation only. I doubt it will happen but at least give the bloke a chance.

These are the sort of views which do my nut in. I was more than likely one of the fans you are referring to in the Chapel on saturday, but i will be back in a hurry as i have been going back in a hurry for nearly 20 years. This is first season for a while that i havent had a season ticket. Mainly due to the fact that i didnt think i would need one due to low gates last season and thought it would be benificial to me to get tickets for each game. The reason people like me were sat in your beloved chapel was due to all the plastics previously referred to. Previous home games this season i have got my tickets the day or 2 before the game. I followed this routine for the Forest game but the only area with more than single seats was your beloved chapel. I expect i will be able to get a ticket in any area of the ground on the day of the Reading game. It is fans like you who are keeping some fans away, you make out as if you own the chapel stand and other people in there are your guests. It is these pathetic, snob like views which drive some fans away and mean that the Chapel is the only area with seats left. So what if people want to get a beer in for a half time, they have paid there money and dont need your permission to go to the toilet or or the bar. If standing up and sitting down is such an inconvienence maybe you should see a doctor or get a blue badge. I think st marys does have some excellent views for the disabled, might be worth looking in to. I await the usual replies which make this forum the state it is, eg. some noncey english teacher correcting my spelling or punctuation.
