  1. HA HA Spuds , , not singing OUR SONG now are you boys!!!!!! brilliant result
  2. Peter Schmeichel after seeing him shout at his defenders to do Kevin Davies at The Dell
  3. Well Chelsea can only sell him to a club he wants to sign for, seem to remember players have a say, and lets face it, we are in the best position to tap him up!
  4. One player I really won't miss , part of the worse back 4 for a couple of seasons, far to slow on the turn and once upfield can't get back . Quite happy to see a bid accepted , hope he passes medical
  5. let him go for free at the end of his contract is nothing like the losses we've had on others and yet to recoup, just Lemina and Hoedt equals the same loss , yet a season with Ings in the team would be a far greater achievement that either of those have achieved! So I'd keep him on , given our recent recruitment the risk is lower with Ings
  6. Actually think the red worked for us, we had to sit back , rather than try and win with Che and Redders we dug in and the expectation level was lower, this could be a massive shot in the arm , proves we don't fold when 10 men, don't always fold against Leicester, and a Friday night game we've survived But had to turn the sound off as every other sentence either had 9 0 or Leicester need to get 3 points, FFS Saints were the home side and needed the points just as much¬
  7. Did we even have a shot other than the Diallo volley ? The midfield is so static it was just a matter of time before Leicester scored , then its game over , as for making changes on 85 mins, ffs its a semifinal , one chance the changes at 60 mins should've been made to give then time to get to the pace , but once again we leave it too late. Just hope that there truly are 3 worse teams below us in the Prem , although if the European league comes to be then there will be no money left and Saints with the current structure will just fade away.
  8. I was going to suggest Jefferson Lerma might be just the sort of in your face midfielder who'd be available
  9. Well why doesn’t the ref simply go to the pitch side and review the film? It wouldn’t take any longer than the present delays .If it’s not a clear offside which I think should be either foot in an offside position then go with the attacking side. Ok he gets a second opinion but the final decision should ALWAYS be the guy in the middle of the game . VAR then is simply another Lino not the judge of fact. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Spot on , PEH practically stopped the game waiting for free kick and he just waved his arms as for the amount of dissent allowed reckon his bosses will be telling him to man up when Palace surrounded him Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. 6 would’ve helped swing the goal differential back Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Starting to doubt RH tactical nous quite agree players and best players Bertie and Yoshi should’ve been on at start VesteguRd far to immobile and generally a hearing disaster. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. well to be honest I wish I could keep away from Sky News, The Echo, Solent, and here. been quite happy to think MLT in charge and seriously considered buying season ticket for me and my daugther. this evening though I'm firmly of the belief that the club has died. I now believe that the situation is being controlled to get SFC in admin and remove the argument on admin. can't see any reason for anyone to invest to be honest, the ground is in an area thats not exactly prime, the football club yes has a proud history but there nothing there at this point in time on the playing to make me think the clubs luck is about to change. so how do i feel ? despondant and just wish I didn't care as much, but only takes one comment at work and I'm defending the club. i feel an injustice has been done by the FL trying to mix its rules with those of corporate law but also feel that we are already in pole postiton to be the first real casualty and in years to come we'll be mentioned just as acrington stanley were in the tv ad as just a distant memory
  14. Perhaps Pinnancle are asking this If your applying sanctions against the 'old' company and expect the new company to accept them, do you (FL) accept that no further sanctions can be applied against the 'new' company for problems with the 'old' company? reading the Leeds statement it seems the FL wanted to be able to further punish the new Leeds for the faults of the old Leeds. surely all Pinnancle really are seeking is an understanding that the 10 points = a clean slate for SFC?
  15. Its more likely to be as Ciderspace puts it, new company can't appeal penalty against old company, however in this case SFC remains the same just new owners. I still feel that if the FL accept the deal as Pinancle buying the assets of SLH the problem they have is accepting that without a CVA. If they accept then the SLH penalty is difficult to defend, They always want all the debt paid or a CVA accepted by the creditors, but again there won't be one on SFC, only SLH requires one. This is where Football Clubs differ to the real world, where companies get broken up and assets sold with no problems, how many of us know of companies closed on Friday yet open like a Phoenix on Monday? All Pinancle are trying to do is do a Phoenix on SLH and the FL probably havn't had this problem before. I have two questions, 1 who did they give the Golden Share to when Saints entered the FL, did they pass it to the SLH or SFC 2 why don't the current board of SFC just issue notice of appeal now?
  16. the 10 points is the smoke screen, the real problem is Pinancle are buying assets not SLH and not paying the full debt value. the FL want to see all the debt paid despite the fact the creditors are happy with say 40p in the £ If they accept the deal then the arguement over the 10 points is lost as it proves SLH and SFC are two seperate entities. I've said it before SLH won't have a CVA as it will be wound up and no longer exist, SFC don't need a CVA as they have never been in admin. The FL have just realised this when Pinancle applied for the transfer which they couldn't do until all the other legal hoops had been crossed, No one else will be buying the club under the FL eyes as they would have to pay the full value of the debt and buy SLH. Monday is the biggest day in the clubs history and it could well be the end of the club as effectively the club will have no value.
  17. golden share? well in that case why is the name of Southampton in the fixture lists?, if this deal is done under duress then the courts wouldn't look at that in a goodlight and the blazers at the FL could end up with more trouble externally than they could cope with. If its FL holding up the deal what happens if a creditor takes on the FL over blocking the deal and causing them financial hardship?
  18. Depends which part had the money surely? we keep hearing the club is seperate to the PLC, and that the administrators arn't in charge of SFC, to be honest if SFC were in admin the wages would have to be honoured by the administrators. Hope the FL are watching this as all the time SFC must be edging closer to trading insolvent, and if it does drop into admin how will they decide a penalty on that? Also perhaps the deal for Dyer will lead to Notts County getting paid first for McG? Perhaps Leon's money paid some other bills from companies threatening to go to court to get their money?
  19. Well IMHO the sale of the assets is what will get the highest price, hence the 'property developers' hovering, the debt is against SLH , most is the mortgage which unless its been defaulted on isn't due. I would expect that to be the Plan B for Fry, and probably the way the bidders will put their offers. If they only bid on the football club and not the other assets as long as its more than Barclays debt then the chances are it'll be accepted, any other debts are probably on 60 day accounts for the day to day running and they would be what RL was attempting to pay with bouncing cheques. yes the football club needs a training ground and a home, but it doesn't need a farm or a PLC, the football clubs only assets are players and the sum total for them probably wouldn't cover the Barclay's debt, however Barclays knew this when they pulled the plug on RL and it has to be remembered they are heavily involved in the premiership and bad publicity such as killing a football club wouldn't do them any favours especially with their current 'community' programme.
  20. The selling of SLH asset companies as seperate items has to work in the clubs favour, as it kills SLH, if SLH remains then so do the points deduction, if SLH dies then the FL would find it very difficult to defend the deduction, as legally there will be no need for a CVA and gives a clean sheet. I would expect the offers to be on that basis, why would anyone buy a PLC?
  21. Sky Sport News just saying on the match report that Wotte has said the club has received two bids. Now MLT as a figure head chairman , wouldn't need cash input as we've seen Chairman don't need to invest, certainly would unite the fans.
  22. well regarding the stadium, surely its the stadium company that has a mortgage? , no one has said that the loan has been defaulted on have they? If SLH sells the company, the company still has the mortgage so why does it need to be renegoiated? Its SLH thats in admin and for sale, the club, the stadium etc are assets and can be sold off individually to satisfy SLH creditors. Why would anyone buy SLH ? its only the assets they want, the money from the assets pays the creditors and SLH closes, or is that too simple? If that happens we can all watch the FL try and decide how SFC get into the fixture list without a CVA , which won't be required as SFC was never in Admin. That I believe is what the Administrators are working on, raising 6 million to pay Barclays and then anyone elses accounts which should be invoices probably on about 60 days of trading .The stadium debt isn't due.
  23. Well never had a season ticket before but as long as Lowe doesn't appear then I'll be buying one for me and my daugther. If Lowe is there no money will leave my wallet for his wages, and i'll do what i did for most of this year either listen on the radio or travel to way games. If theres no club then theres no football as I couldn't back another team.
  24. Well if Mark Fry reaches the end of the money, or rather the directors of SFC do then the next step is sell the assets of the PLC, What will be interesting is 1. The Stadium is sold to say the council. 2. One of the bidders buy's SFC 3. Staplewood is sold to the buyer of SFC 4. Jacksons is sold to the property developers 5. SLH is then wound up AS SFC would never enter admin, SFC wouldn't be able to provide the league with the paperwork as it was never in and couldn't therefore leave admin. SFC own the golden share , and SFC existed before the PLC hence the 'reverse takeover'. So the club survives but then leaves the FL with a problem, where does it play? if it accepts there is no paperwork by including SFC in its fixture lists for L1 then how can it apply the points deduction. Mark Fry will do his duty to the creditors of SLH and can only sell what he gets a bid on, if the bidders only want assets not the whole parcel then that could be why todays change of tac.
