Is there anything coming our way if a Real Madrid move comes off? It bugs me every time I see a sell on clause mentioned in the transfer of a player. Saints never seem to get mentioned in this scenario. Is there one on Walcott for instance?

So Rooney's been caught out and the old line about football players being role models gets spun out. When will people realise these bunch of idiots are about as capable of filling the role as Pol Pot or Idi Amin. They have about as much brains between them as a can of baked beans, think the likes of you and I are a bunch of peasants, are completely unable to do anything for themselves and have total disregard for anyone and anything. The only problem is, the 'yoof' of today are just as thick and look up to these twerps, forgiving and forgetting their every downfall. It's not so much the fact old spud head has been behind his missus back, I dare say a few on this forum have done the same, it's the fact that though we hear he's upset that whatsername will go spare (some BS put out by his agent no doubt or likely made up by the filth on the newsdesk at the SM or NOW), he could not give 2 shoites as life for him will go on and he'll score a wonder goal and in time the indiscretion will be forgotten. All this sleb adulation is sickening

though Hart seems to be a completely sideways step now and quite possibly backwards, I was in favour of him taking over last year. However I think we have moved on and his career has been set back a bit. In light of this and with a desire to stay with an English manager, I am now keen on Kevin Blackwell. HCDAJFU. I can see him getting us back into the Prem, whether he'd be up to the job there, I don't know but by then we'd be a much better proposition for a bigger name though who's to say he couldn't do a Pulis? Then again, there's always Curbs Oh I don't know

lack of experience at this level would be up there. Hardly covered himself in glory at his one and only managerial job so far. It's all been said already. And I'm not interested in Poyet anymore. We should go homegrown. Who? I don't know. I've had no interest in the teams or management of any one of the sides we've played over the past few years. Just want us back where we belong.

my choice but fear it's Zola

I wanted to put his name forward a few weeks back but thought better of it. Couldn't be ar$ed with being shot down. Now it's out in the open, I think he would be just the ticket. He kept himself fit and he is only recently retired. There's still life in him, got to be worth 10K per week. Trouble is, I can't see him moving South. Not sure he even moved wholesale to Newcastle tbh.

Got married yesterday. Inside his card, a Stoke mate of mine had stapled a printout of a slip from William Hill's. He'd laid on £50 at 3/1 for Saints to win the league. Now.... Should I be worried:?

I'm going to ask some old boys from the Cottage in Butlock's Heath where they used to go ashore in Melbourne. They were all on the Canberra/Oriana and used to stop off there. Maybe there's a link to Southampton in Melbourne already. Aussie Dog, sorry I never made it clear, I meant down Melbourne way

moving to Melbourne in December...anyone know of a Saints bar/pub don that way?

I just wish you were around to see the result of your dreams. Thanks for what you did for us, the city and football. Always a Saint. RIP Markus

theyin replied to Pancake's topic in The Saints
this is not a good move AFAIC. if this is about pulling in more cash then I seriously doubt selling rights like this would generate much more income than the previous system. This, as has already been mentioned, simply creates a bad feeling towards the club. I fear this is not all that NC has in store for the media, FL and other associated organisations this coming season. We have a rep as a club, needlessly trashing it like this is pointless. -
am I the only one who never took a p 1ss take pill this morning? it's a difficult one but I'd say Beeney

just threw in How are the Saints going to overcome our achilles heel of dodgey playing surfaces come the winter? Can he offer us any reassurance that NC, AP & the coaching staff are all singing from the same hymnsheet? if he's belting them in come Xmas what would his reaction be to an offer from a top of the div NPC or struggling Prem team? what does he believe AP needs to do in the transfer market in the coming few weeks to guarentee TOP spot in L1? not showing on his tweet list though???

Was that your piece of dandy work S_c? Still p 1sses me off when we score a goal at the Northam end and there's all those empty seats in view though. Pity nothing could be done to change the away fans location
