If we're heading away from the sash I doubt we're special enough to expect our own design so if another club has released their kit from the same manufacturer, then it is fair to assume that this will be our kit next season .....IMO

I read my first ever derogatory comment of Lawrie on this very forum a few years back and couldn't quite believe my eyes. I had simply never heard such a comment, not since he went to Sunderland and to be honest, most were over that not long after as he was forgiven for 'going back home'. As it turned out Lawrie really did believe his own hype about the area, the same hype he used to bring so many great players to the club. And he was soon heading south to Chandlers Ford, where he's been ever since. With his connections he should still have an ambassadorial role ala Bobby Charlton at the club, a job he'd do rather well I think. He gave me the greatest years watching Southampton and for that he will forever be my number one Saints manager - and a top bloke too.
