  1. Take your pick
  2. What a brilliant 40 mins. Peach's goal highlight one, Cloughy iv two
  3. Sounds like he's going nowhere. He definitely sounds like he's lost the will to play. Fair play to him. £4m+p/y for a little light training. Sounds good to me.
  4. CB Fry 27.30 for Saints so called coverage. Newsflash - Saints home to Millwall is a nothing game, when two ex England managers are squaring up for the first time in the NPC in a big local derby and another game ended seven freaking one. Why oh why oh why didn't they show every single kick of Saints v Millwall I ask myself. Derby fans love the BBC because of their blatant pro Derby agenda. Or is Burnley? I'm sure the parade of utter spackers on this thread grizzling about how the BBC spends all their time thinking of ways to be biased against Southampton fu ck ing Football Club can tell you which clubs feel the benefit of the bias of the evil BBC. See you all next week for the exact same drivel. The BBC hates Saints. Boo-fu cking - hoo. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's just because I think I hear SC's tone start to drone when we come on and I want to see more of Saints broadcast to the rest of the nation. But I'd fookin love, just love if I was proved right and this jumped up tw a t CB fookin Fry was proved wrong. Sorry for voicing an opinion
  5. Editorial policy at TFLS definitely seems to have a bias against the Saints.
  6. Only Southampton fans....Jesus F.....H.CHRIST
  7. Felt they ran the midfield for too long a time throughout the game tbh. I know we won, but we lost too many balls in the middle.
  8. Lived there, went out with a bird from there, had one as my best man (didn't marry the bird though). I can understand a healthy rivalry, but the vitriol perplexes me. As others have stated my old man would go see Pompey if Saints were away. There are complete c*%ts at both end of the M27, I dare say if we were playing at their place a few days after a hero of theirs passed away there'd be some tw>ts of ours booing - even before the Ted Bates abomination had taken place. Some people really need to grow up IMO. If football never came into it, 99 times out of a hundred, you would have no clue they were blue. Poopey, Pimpley etc etc etc ....come on, grow up. Rise above it.
  9. Always felt our preseasons were a tad tinpot in comparison to others. Never much glamour/hardened competition even when we were in the PL. Other teams around us achieved 'big' ties and far flung tours where the club's name could be spread but it hasn't been that way with us since LM's days.
  10. Delap's was better
  11. That, kind sir has just about sold it to me
  12. I was wondering how this thread might turn out. Interesting ...very interesting
  13. This
  14. Really should have been an absolute cheapo to get to. Hopefully NC will see the light and make this so next year. A full ground at a fiver for adults and zero for kids maximises the potential that the kids will be Saints fans as we head towards the Prem rather than the big guns at the top. Marketing doesn't seem to be the clubs strong point. However if they'd like a forward thinking, wide ranging, ideas man - I'd gladly throw my hat in the ring
  15. Well done Mike. Congratulations on all the effort put in and the flag looks grand. Good choice.
  16. Impressed. Looking forward to seeing the lad next season
  17. I think the hype was mainly generated on here wasn't it?
  18. The9, I'm guessing you're an all in kind of fella when it comes to a game of poker?
  19. Will the black on full white background of the sponsor logo follow through to the stripes ....hmmmmm
  20. Southampton born & bred. Simple as that. Could never understand other kids in class supporting other places clubs. The one that got to me the most was a couple of lads converting to Spurs when Ossie came along and they had that early 80's cup success. One friended me on fb a few years back and I reminded him of the desertion and how it riled his classmates. Never heard from him again. What's been really great since the move to Melbourne is when asked if I support the usual suspects and I correct the perpetrators, loads of them immediately mention MLT. Nice to know the red & white extends 12k away. Most disappointingly though is a recent old pals addition to fb. Someone I might add whose house was adorned with Saints mirrors when we were growing up. Looking through his photos I was shocked to find pictures of him and his son in ....Chelski shirts. His excuse was he couldn't bear the losing any more. Freakin tragic IMO. Hopefully in time to come he'll see the error of his ways.
  21. Never, thanks though...brilliant
  22. Ain't it great?
  23. I could live with anything on this page, Hummel at the bottom of the list admittedly though
  24. To Be Fair, on the past years marketing efforts, I'm glad to see the loser go
