IMO He's probably lucky he got out when he did as there is no way in hell he'd have been able to arrest the exits out the door once the lure of 2x, 3x, 4x the wages and a chance of CL action came calling for any one of the squad. Don't usually get on board with Alpine bashing but he just eeks it out of you doesn't he? If the red was NC's attempt at getting us recognised in Asia, it was laughable from the outset and to believe the current squad is going to be affected by something that occurred nigh on ten years ago just because they're wearing something similar is, well, beyond a joke.

Prepared to be shot down by all and sundry here but there's a bloke featured in the middle of the Saints legends at the top of this page that has European playing pedigree, a name of the world stage and an affiliation with the club. Way past ever coming back as manager but surely able to recognise the talent Saints are after and impress the parents of said young talent to persuade them that a move to Saints would be beneficial. Absolutely gutted I can't be there. Been following Sholing's progress since they changed from VT. Would be brilliant to see the rest of the city turn out to see the red and white run out at Wembley. My Dad, who still lives in Sholing told me the story of West Auckland a few years back. And some kind soul posted the film on youtube ... a brilliant watch and definitely up there in the list of greatest footballing films... Up the Boatmen

As I put the barricades up, I'll proffer my thoughts. Lakuku and Cole in a straight swap for Shaw if we can hold out till the summer. Benefits all round IMO. So what if @therealac3 is past 30, he's still England's #1 in his position and surely the academy has someone in that position lined up that could start offering competition in a year or two. And if Cole's happy with life in the Surrey commuter belt, he doesn't have to move. If Osvaldo's going and we got lucky and Chelsea don't receive a better offer (long shot considering his form) then Lakuku looks a fine replacement. All hypotheticals and ridiculous to some but I fear young Shaw is off, it's just a matter of when.

Managed to find a stream with no commentary. It sounded like SMS. Completely drowned the home fans out before and after the goal as far as I can remember (it was past midnight for me and I'd had a few sherberts so might not be totally true). Final third is a concern. Just read RL had gone off the boil, I thought the kettle was turned off mid season 12/13. Ossie will come good for sure, no doubt and it's time to rethink AL's role. He's simply not delivering.

Until kids are taught a completely different game from the earliest age possible and I don't mean academy's, I mean Sunday league teams, we'll get nowhere. Until then, I'll continue, along with many others, with not giving two hoots about the national team.

Is it simply access to the EPL or does the service offer other sports?

No one seems to have mentioned it was our first season back in the PL last year. We could have got the same attendance against Bashley. Saying that, watching from afar, there did seem to be a fair few empty seats going in the first half against Sunderland. Unfortunately, as is often the case, I was asleep by the time the 2nd half started. I know, I'm a terrible fan...if such a word is allowed to be applied to one that has attended 1 game in three years.
