  1. The irony of you asking for empathy for one person whilst showing none for people of colour who face daily racism is astounding.... Maybe it’ll be helpful for those of decrying “rioting blacks” to question why this sort of thing occurs. This is from the wiki page on riots: Riots often occur in reaction to a grievance or out of dissent. Historically, riots have occurred due to poverty, unemployment, poor living conditions, governmental oppression, taxation or conscription, conflicts between ethnic groups, (race riot) or religions (sectarian violence, pogrom), the outcome of a sporting event (sports riot, football hooliganism) or frustration with legal channels through which to air grievances.[2]
  2. No way! I'm still holding out hope on the most spectacular implosion since Kevin "I would luv it!" Keegan!
  3. I was thinking watching the game last night that out of our 4 usual midfield starters - hoj, WP, Redmond & Armstrong - hoj is probably the one I'd sell first. He's a good player but too inconsistent even for a mid table team. Won't be easy to replace though
  4. Phenomenal work! Congrats on building a fantastic site. I will enjoy reading through. I’ve noticed one small typo. In the bottom banner it says “View all Playerss”.
  5. Still incredible to me that our team then had two future England internationals (possibly 3 if Antonio ever gets a game), one french international and a Portuguese international that would start for the winning European finals & Nations League teams! Fantastic time to be a saints fan
  6. Thanks for letting us know! Downloading now
  7. What? It’s not only over 70s who can pass the disease on.... if that’s your attitude every single one of us should go into isolation
  8. For some yes, for some no. For me that’s for the individuals impacted to decide. They may isolate and die anyway, or they may decide to carry on as normal and live another 20 years.
  9. Where did I say it’s unfair? People know the risks, they can make their own choice. The only objection I have to your view is that you state they shouldn’t be allowed to have treatment if they decide that they’d rather live normally rather than shut themselves away. And I think you know that by negatively impacted I mean those actually being asked to go into isolation. We all know someone who would be affected by this P.s. I’m not even 40 yet, but nice assumption of my age.
  10. The relevance is that it’s easy to be in support of something that has absolutely no negative impact on you. If it did I seriously doubt you would think the same. Coronavirus apparently has been found to be more deadly for men than women. If they said all men had to go into isolation for 4 months I doubt they’d be anything like the support there seems to be on here for the over 70s plan.
  11. Guessing you’re not over 70
  12. It’s not. You try spending 4 months in isolation and see if you don’t go a bit crazy. We’re all used to going where we want, when we want. To suddenly go from that to isolation is a major shift
  13. Tbf to MLG he's only responding to the point someone made that boufal cannot beat a man, which he clearly can. We all know there's no end product after he's beaten that man!
  14. Tbf there was no malice from djenepo. It’s one of those challenges that looks horrendous under super slo mo but is one of those things. Cant argue about it being a red, but also For me there’s no real blame on the player either. Similar to bertrands red against Leicester. Poor performance all around really. Defended ok for the most part, and long was always a handful and responsible for our best attacking moments. Still thanks only to McCarthy for only losing 1-0 though
  15. De gea was going the wrong way.... there’s no way that if he wasn’t sat there that de gea was saving that deflection. If that’s not interfering with play I don’t know what is
  16. Disgraceful decision... var officials keep shooting themselves in the foot
  17. Sheesh somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning... We’ve played very well both games against Villa, but I don’t think it can be denied that they also have shown no fight in both games which has made our job a lot easier. And where exactly did I say inept performances under Hassenhuttl? Surely you remember the Branfoot, Redknapp & Wotte years?
  18. Villa have been utterly inept in both games we’ve played against them this season, to the point I cannot think of another pair of such poor performances against us in a single season home and away. Anyone remember any other teams that have been so poor in a single season? Note this is for Saints opponents! I’m sure we can all come up with several dozen utterly inept Saints performances home and away !!
  19. Tbf I’d take that over BJ
  20. I think we all know why it was closed... shame the mods won’t do something more drastic about the culprits tbh. Debate is fine, but it’s all tedious pointscoring and trolling in this place
  21. I’m sure this has been covered elsewhere but for those who don’t read the board religiously - some great news re ward-prowse’ injury just being a deep cut, and he may even be fit for Burnley. Given it looked like ligament damage that’s a huge bonus for us and him on a disappointing night
  22. Hating jwp at right back. He’s been effective there but a big miss in the center of the park, which is arguably more important
  23. They’re showing two games each night on bt sport. The one at 2015 and one 1930 kickoff
