Don’t want to go all mlg on you but he left us at the end of his contract. He was still our player those final 6 months, even if we loaned him to the arse and got a fee for that
-
I thought we might be in for him, until I saw the offer was for £11m or so and therefore probably way out of our budget at the moment!

The good posters no longer post here and you can see why...

I cannot profess to understand the point you’re trying to make... but regardless ignoring people on a football forum is hardly comparable to anything the (former) POTUS does, unless of course he places people on ignore when on football forums?? -

The one thing this site does have is a good ignore user function! Works wonders for me 😂 -

It was a real shame how Keith’s forum ended. It was a prelude to the kind of trolling that is now rampant all over the internet -
Most fans would probably jump ship as well if they were offered incentives to do so. If Liverpool came along and offered me £1m a year to support them I’d consider it! If ings leaves it doesn’t mean he doesn’t love the club any less, just that he wants to try his skills at a higher level and have a better chance of winning trophies. Nothing wrong with any of that, and as long as he doesn’t kick up a stink to get his way then we’ve no cause to complain

I see Targett’s starting to get some rave reviews from Villa fans! Great to see as his opportunities here would have been limited behind Bertrand so it’s a move that seems to have worked well for both parties. Also goes to show how much young footballers need an established run in the side in order to make the grade, which is incredibly difficult to give in the PL.
-
If he wants a good crack at the champions league he should go abroad. One of the Italian or German clubs would be good for him I would think. He’d be a bench warmer for an English CL team unfortunately.
-
What lack of loyalty? He’s signed a contract - he’s well within his right not to sign a new one if he doesn’t want too. As long as he doesn’t throw his toys out the pram ala vvd he’s shown all the loyalty we’re due
-
I swear this should be the strap line for this forum...
-
Can also play rb and cm, hence the ‘cover’ a few positions comment. I think he’d be a good squad player to have but realise many will disagree. It’s all about opinions on a football forum believe it or not...
-
Calum Chambers is apparently available from the Arse. Anyone like to see him back? Would offer decent cover in a few positions so a yes from me if the moneys right
-
Sheesh doesn’t look good for Burnley if their new owners come up with tripe like that... makes them sound very uninformed, albeit as you say op we’re not getting the talent through we were in the last few years
-
Tbf a good 80% of this forum is people being obnoxious and rude... to my knowledge though (and happy to be corrected) I’ve never seen mlg be abusive to anyone, yet he seems to have to put up with a huge amount of abuse on here.
-
Yet you obsessively post about his obsession on here...

I've just started playing myself and Long's got 5 goals in 2 games so far, after banging in 11 goals in 5 substitute appearances in pre-season! Even more bizarre though is Redmond hitting a hat-trick and getting a perfect 10 score in my second game... how can that ever happen Definitely something amiss ha! Albeit I'm really enjoying the match engine this year.
-
Must be a lot of defections in this years game 😂
-
I agree with virtually all of your reasonings mlg, but the one I think is definitely wrong is JWP free kicks. When you consider he has the best conversion rate in the premier league since records began, whic means he’s more effective than bale & Maddison. He should be at the top on another point though it’s becoming increasingly clear to me that fm suffers from a big team bias. Every year Man Utd in particular are amazing, when in real life they are no where near the same level
-
My last post on the subject but I'm sure you're aware that quitting because you don't agree with something is not the same as not accepting it as reality... Cameron also said when he resigned the country needed a party leader to deliver the referendum result. Hardly the words of someone not accepting the results of said referendum
-
You’re twisting the argument to fit your narrative. Cameron accepted the result. The fact he quit afterwards has no relevance whatsoever. 16m voted remain, only a small proportion of which have “screamed and cried every day since”. Of course these are the ones you hear from, as those who accept they lost have just got on with their lives. However these remainers are not comparable to the POTUS
-
There’s a massive difference between voters doing it and a party leader doing it. Your comparison to this would be David Cameron, who accepted the results, as have the majority of remainers btw

If he was there for the warm up then he got on the pitch 😉
