Ok ok, so lets prophesise that we do make Europa next season, which 3 teams would you like in the group? Based on teams that are likely to qualify, I'll go for - Sevilla, Fiorentina and Zurich
-
Surely saints have never started any game in our history without a British born player?
-
Couple of hammers fans got kicked out of the chapel too after their goal, glad the stewards were prepared to get rid.
-
Absolutely quality goal, great work from a young morgan and adam

My Dad lives in Cph, staunch Saints fan. I'm over from time to time, many others in the city? -
Surely Arouna Kone missing for Wigan is as significant as any of the other missing players?
-
Didn't he slip in the lead up to puncheons goal??
-
Surely Davis needs to be dropped after last nights performance, barely a single forward pass found feet, lost count of how many tmes he gave the ball away in attacking positions, ruining our attacks and heaping pressure on the defense

The somewhat amusing Everton opinion.....! http://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/49082-Everton-v-Southampton-29th-Sep-15-00

The players who I can seriously see holdinig their own in the prem - Davis, Hooiveld, Lallana, Schneiderlin, Cork, Lambert. Players who should be able to do a job - Martin, Richardson, Fonte, Fox, Guly (i hope!), Lee, Sharp. Players I would still keep - Bart, Harding, Hammond, Chaplow, Barnard, De Ridder Undecided/possibly get rid - Forecast, Butterfield, jaidi, Seabourne, Puncheon (decent player but he ought to be replaced imo), Connolly (let him play out his last season or 2 actually playing football in the NPC/L1), Doble. We need - 1 quality full back, 1 quality CM, 1 quality RW, and ideally a proven prem CB

yeah right!! I'd best aim for the family stand then! Exeter Saints or whatever though, can they really say no to my money at this moment in time? It's the devon derby tomorrow, several roads around me being blocked off specially.....really cant see it being that bad!

Does anybody else happen to have a spare ticket for the Saints end?? If not I'll have to brave the home end, is anybody else doing this?

I like how we are reffered to as Exeter City at the end of that write up on the plymouth OS! -

ive completed my dissertation looking at the effect of practising penalties whlst usng a pre shot routine focussing on fixating on the corners of the goal and explicitly not the goalkeeper, using a eye tracker which shows precisely where someone is looking in thier field of vision( thier accuracy and success rate shot up over 6 weeks). based on this and all the proper scientific research conducted in this area, your far more lkely to be successfull when you look where you want to score. anxiety leads to fixaions on the goalkeeper and generally more centralised, ****tier shots. MLT was unique in that he could look at the goalkeeper to his advantage, when the literature says otherwise!

he played in a charity match at exeter on monday night, got to meet him and franny benali in the club bar beforehand which was fantastic. Franny made the 90 minutes but le tiss was crocked and knackered after 40! Some cracking passes and one close shot but easily the slowest on the pitch.

speaking of signing stuff, anyone in the devon area, le tiss is playing in an exeter legends charity match at st james park 2moro and signing autographs for an hour in the exeter club bar beforehand!

in 5 years, schniederlin will be better

re: the view we need some lumps at the back who are good in the air - jaidi and fonte not cutting it for you??
-
I've gone for lallana, 19 (?) goals from left wing is a ruddy good effort, he goes into the games full of confidence in his outstanding ability and its an absolulute pleasure to turn up and watch what he can do

They got a very warm ovation at half time on the cold winter Tuesday night in Exeter a few months back, for the 130 or so who made the trip!

i wouldnt quiery his commitment and what he brings to the side in terms of morale and leadership, but i do get slightly fed up with the amount of articles paying him lip service on the OS; comes across as all mouth and little substance. Attackers go past him too quickly, and hes usually either too slow to catch them or gives away the foul. His passing is shockingly poor, consistently sending hospital passes to players not more than 10 yards from him. My mate's an argyle fan and is genuinely suprised when i give him that opinion, from the sounds of it he was a very handy player for them! Seems an honest enough footballer, but stick me in a saints shirt and i'd guarantee you 100% honest effort, doesnt change the fact i'd be rubbish!

Although clearly not the best goal we have ever scored, Lallana's effort at loftus road in the 4-1 defeat to QPR last season was quite a special move, probably my favourtie team goal since the relegation
