Has anyone gone for the posh seats at SMS
Franny's Tash replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
Well yes but the full monty version was well over a 100 quid I seem to remember, so unless you're going to spend 50 quid at the bar (which takes some doing given that it's not open during the actual game) this is the better option to be honest. As an aside, there was some contact with the club about doing this kind of thing last season and they seemed relucatant to move away from the premium option, so it looks like some things have changed for the better off the pitch too.... I got the impression they had a business model and were intent on sticking to it no matter what. The only problem being of course that model was designed when we were in the prem... when it was a lot easier to attract coporates and they didn't need to worry so much about regular punters who just want to splash out now and then. I'd like to see them make this a regular offer, plus at least a partial refund for ST holders who want to do this. -
I'm not sure why, but this comment made me laugh quite a lot

thanks (belatedly) for the suggestions; I run another laptop from the same router and that never has this problem so that suggests its something to do with this one. Events log- I’ve had a look (though not sure really what I’m looking for...) and in the 'event viewer' under 'system' there are errors listed which *might* on first glance correspond to the occurrences of the problem- the most regular of these lists 'W32Time' as the source. So- I googled this and some random message board suggests turning off 'internet time synchronisation'- which I’ll do and see what happens- ring any bells ??

I've got a new medion 10" notebook thingy. Basically the prob is- at irregular intervals (ie could be after a couple of mins, could be a lot longer) webpages etc will not load etc... but the taskbar icon etc is still telling you its connected as before. Usually I just turn off the wireless and turn it back on again (ie standard IT procedure!) and it works again. But still annoying obviously... what you think- hardware or software problem... something to do with firewall?? any ideas? Cheers

erm well both obviously, although I went with your one-stop solution :-)

'kin genius! :-)

is there a way to do this in bulk rather than by right-clicking them one by one? this is of course in no way related to washing text copied from wikipedia and pasted into a word document ;-)

"I thought we were talking about hundreds of thousands... so just how does a club get 30m in debt??" Its the stadium you stupid tart, what do you think FFS.... anyway- what's keeping me reasonably optimistic is- how many clubs have actually gone to the wall in the last 50 years- 2? Acrington sometime in the 60s, Aldershot early 90s. Many have gone into admin / other major financial problems but carried on (Leeds, Derby, Leicester etc) Big issue though is of course the timing- it happens to us during worst global recession for 80 years...

Last time I checked though England wasn't still part of Italy. -

Interesting view of the 'peace' process -
Sorry if I'm barking up the wrong tree but this isn't about your knee is it? in which case insurers might have something to say about pre-existing conditions etc...

Is there definitive answer for this? I always thought it was basically +1 i.e. UK9 = US10, but after a web trawl some say 10, others 10.5 (and the odd one even 9.5). grrrrrrr. Any answers?

Debating whether NP is the next Martin O'Neill or not really is a bit of a red herring. What is clear is that he is quite clearly better than what the muppets in charge of the club chose to replace him with, hence our current predicament.

Bloody hilarious, hopefully Chelsea will now disappear into the obscurity from whence they came. I wonder who's made that decision, Abramakrook or that snake Kenyon. Their treatment of Grant was appalling, by the media as much as anything else- any good result was down to his predecessor, any bad result was down to him. Must be laughing his arse off. Not "sexy" enough for Chelsea, so they brought someone in who was then sack him after 7 months!

why are you so obsessed with Nigel Pearson? he's not even Scottish

He is a reactionary buffoon, who’s fanbase seems to consist of either prepubescent would-be boy racers, or permanently annoyed early middle age jacket-and-jeans types

Now you know why there is a lack of jobs in UK

So those people making this stuff around the world all have 'good paying' jobs do they then? -
They don't. They just think we might be fvcked as a species due to these changes so it might be a good idea to do something about it. And average temperatures aren't going down, that's just nonesense, whatever the cause. Still, nothing less than we've come to expect from you I guess

Cardiff Saints is very similar, shows the ignorance of the initial poster. People actual spend a bit of their own time and effort to build links with the club?? Whatever next. Much better to slag people off at arms length on a message board surely.

Meaning?

Almost as big as the one you seem to have

Now that would have been amusing. "right, that's them all done. ok let's make a run for it. oh b0llocks"
