  1. According to saintkiptanui that makes both of us thickos.
  2. Are these the same disgruntled staff who would, in most likelihood, not have a job if ML (through NC) hadn't taken over?
  3. And what if (most likely) ML walked away too?
  4. I think you may find that most of those posters who write things like "I've been a Pompey supporter for 40 years, but I think my club has acted disgracefully....." are actually undercover Saints fans. They know the "I'm a Saints fan, and I think your club has acted disgracefully....." posts get deleted PDQ.
  5. An absolute disgrace, HMRC will waste taxpayers money chasing a vindictive cause. Yes what the club did was wrong, and I in no way condone previous regimes actions which were disgraceful to say the least, but chasing this case is a waste of time and OUR money. Choosing to appeal on the final day, as they did with Leeds, once again just shows how the HMRC are.... well I'm not even going to say it out loud let alone type it. Comment number 6.
  6. Given the recent developments, this could be P*****'s last ever match. Maybe I should rethink not attending. I could say "I was there when the Cheats FC kicked their last ball!"
  7. The meant the current Heskey (even worse than the younger version).
  8. I can only hazard a guess that they sold him for peanuts, and given they still need to offload other players, AA doesn't want other clubs to know just how desperate they are.
  9. And that is the stick that Comical Andy is beating the unsecured creditors' heads with. But it is surely a bluff, because it means Chainrai would forgo whatever part of the £48m parachute money he can get his grubby hands on.
  10. Bugger, I just bought a ticket to watch some world-class soccer stars. Not.
  11. Shame really, because it's nice to have some comic entertainment before HMRC's main event on Thursday.
  12. True, if it were held in Europe. But with Messi in his prime, and assuming they have a semi-decent manager (unlike the clown Maradonna), I reckon Argentina (and obviously Brazil) will be the teams to beat when it's held in Brazil.
  13. Hi Tim, different opinion from me. I thought Martin Tyler (as always) was a tedious bore. Blathering on with boring facts while the game is going on (too lazy to keep up with the game), and from his tone of voice barely looking up from his prepared notes of boring facts when a goal went in, often just muttering that the ball is in the back of the net in a dull matter-of-fact voice. He certainly did his job to turn off Americans from "soccer." On the other hand Ian Darke (along with Derek Rae and Adrian Healey) were excellent IMHO.
  14. The only person in the world who would pick Heskey for an international team is Crapello. Ok, maybe Heskey's mum would too.
  15. Schweinsteiger by a mile, eh? ... which is why Forlan was named the winner of the Golden Ball as the best player of the World Cup. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/world_cup_2010/8804708.stm Who's the thicko now?
  16. 2-1 to Holland it is then.
  17. Or if they're Switzerland.
  18. I doubt Holland will, either.
  19. Nice one. Not a lot of people knew that.
  20. They may have got that date from Comical Andy. It's his cunning plan to fool HMRC into filing the appeal one day too late.
  21. That doesn't sound like your typical deluded blue few. Are you sure they're not Saints fans in disguise?
  22. Rumour has it that Comical Andy may be influenced somewhat by Chainrai.
  23. TBH I really couldn't give a toss if our saviour is altruist or not.
  24. That's the driver.
