  1. Depends whether the new company supplies brown envelopes, sufficiently stuffed, to key people making that decision.
  2. And don't forget the increased parachute payments the year they went down. Injustices Mann and Tart not winding them up. The PL relaxing the embargo. Getting around the FL embargo. A weaker than usual Championship. HMRC screwing up in court. And, as you say, Malwinney gone just at the right time. They've really had an incredible charmed life as they've cheated and lied their way all through this. It's almost as though they've made a pact with the devil. The one silver lining is that if they don't go up this season they are f*cked. Come on QPR, Cardiff and one other (Leicester would be amusing). Cheating, lying bastards.
  3. Indeed. The parachute payments, together with a gamble on promotion, to be precise. All this talk from AA about liquidation is pure bullshit. But it worked on the PL and Injustices Mann and Tart, so why not on the FL? They'll string on the administration until either it looks a good bet on promotion, or pull the plug if it looks unlikely. Cheating, lying bastards.
  4. Have you just been watching Inglorious Basterds?
  5. And for anyone who may have missed it, please join us in the Lounge at the world famous Cheats FC Takeover Saga thread, which is still going strongly, and where we are currently spitting blood that they could be cheating their way back to the PL.
  6. Yep, I've mentioned this scenario about a hundred pages back. It's looking more and more to be the case. Let's hope it all ends in tears for them. The most amusing possibility is that they finish in the top six, prepare for the playoffs, only to be hit by a points penalty at the 11th hour, which pulls the rug from under them. Oh how we'd laugh.
  7. Don't be so sure. Brown envelopes have this amazing ability to wipe out memories of past shenanigans, even the multitude of disgusting ones that Cheats Fc have committed.
  8. For a normal club, maybe. But for your lot you need to go up this season. BC will trouser as much of the parachute money as possible, and is gambling everything on a quick return. I'm pretty certain that you'll be liquidated if you don't go up this season. Fingers crossed.
  9. Nail. Hammer. Head. But try explaining that to idiots such as InJustice Mann (and the FL for that matter).
  10. Plan A: Push for promotion and the pot of gold that entails. If that fails...... Plan B: Hang around long enough to collect as much of the parachute payments as he can, asset strip as much as he can, and try to flog the carcass to some sucker. Let's hope plan A fails.
  11. Well, it seems the "give us what we want or the kitten gets it" routine has worked yet again. Unless, of course, some brown envelopes have exchanged hands. Cheating, lying, bastards.
  12. 2-0 is a dangerous lead. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090523162131AA9rV1c
  13. Corpse Whore would beg to differ. And I'm sure she will log on soon and do just that.
  14. Come on Dalek, I've already corrected that myth a number of times. Luggy wasn't a disaster, he had a very reasonable record during his short stay at Saints. The rot started when Luggy was ousted and replaced by that disastrous buffoon Wigley.
  15. Thank you! I've been trying to find that one for ages. Searching for it on this thread is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
  16. I think in Cheats FC's case it is pretty clear which of the two is more likely. Cheating, lying bastards.
  17. Nice letter. Shite reply from them.
  18. According to NotW, CVA would be unworkable except Chanrai is guaranteeing the shortfall to the tune of £7M. If I were an unsecured creditor I'm not sure how much confidence I would have with Chanrai's "guarantee". Actually I do ... not any.
  19. They still have umpteen millions in parachute payments to come. I'm sure he can trouser quite a bit of that.
  20. "When I took the decision to leave I did so believing the future of the club was in very good hands." You mean in the hands of a son of a gun-running child maimer? Well, I suppose by Cheats FC's standards, those are very good hands.
  21. I thought you preferred the fat ladies?
  22. Truly a list of owners from hell. Any one of that dastardly bunch would be a fit and proper new owner for Cheats FC.
  23. Because the bugger temporarily bailed them out while they were trading whilst insolvent in the PL. Without him they almost certainly wouldn't have cheated their way to a second FA Cup final, and probably wouldn't even exist now. So he's definitely unfit and improper!
