Depends. If helping them out only delays them going bust until after the season ends, then we could be cutting our own throats (if the resulting points change from them going bust before the season ends is the difference between us getting promoted or not). I think that's the point IKT was trying to make.

Revisiting 06/07 - no, really, it wasn't all bad

Even if they had gone straight down again, Saints would've got 4 years worth of parachute payments. -
I didn't see it, but that surely must be amongst the greatest Saints games. We were virtually dead and buried before that match.
-
You're missing the point. Replace Heskey by Anderton (or any other England donkey who played instead of Matty pre 1998 ).
-
Probably not. I'm sure that Chinny has shot his wad. If they don't go up their squad for next season will make our disastrous "revolutionary coaching set up" with the kids look like a Man City style extravaganza. And if the Autumn parachute payment is indeed the last one, then it's surely pull-the-plug time, and the Cheats (if they aren't completely liquidated) will drop down the leagues faster than a pair of knickers in Portsea Island.

I wonder if he'll be back for the playoffs?
-
They should simply be renamed Cheats FC. That will avoid all confusion.
-
So as I've said before, I don't want them to go bust, but if they are going to anyway let's hope it happens before the season ends.
-
With one of the most expensive squads in the division (the manager of billionaire-owned QPR complained about being outbid for a player by the Cheats), and with him probably failing to take them up to the Parachute Payment Division, I doubt Chinny shares your view.
-
Alternatively, you could buy yourself a nice mansion and yacht in the Caribbean, and let the Cheats implode and slide back down to the level they deserve, all by themselves. Admittedly there won't be the satisfaction of them playing in red/white stripes, but I'm sure that won't be too big of a sacrifice as you sip martinis on the beach.

Reading the comments it is clear that the few are going to get fewer. But if for any reason a ticket was not provided, the fan would still owe Zebra the full debt. The club said it ‘cannot foresee any circumstances where this would be relevant.’ That's strange, everyone here can.

Saints sign 21 year old Dale Stephens on loan - official

Barcelona certainly don't care. Xavi and Iniesta are both 5ft 7in. -
POMPEY have assured fans that money paid for season tickets will go straight in to the club’s coffers. Note the lack of assurance that the club won't fold, with Chinny emptying the said coffers, immediately afterwards.
-
All the roads for the Cheats seem to be leading to the same place ..... promotion or bust. No pressure then for Stevie boy and his paper thin squad.
-
And if so, will it jeopardise his chances of getting the England job?
-
Not necessarily.
-
See above.

Considering he came in and immediately got rid of an excellent young manager, purely out of spite because he was appointed by his arch nemesis Crouch, replacing said manager with a "revolutionary coaching set up" headed by a couple of clowns, many would say that RL was to blame for the relegation. And don't get me started on him allowing Saints to go into administration just a few days after the cutoff date for the points penalty to carry-over to the next season.
-
And don't forget, even if they make the playoffs, there are 3 of the better teams standing in their way to temporary salvation. So that makes the Cheats chances of survival one quarter of Jack Schitt.
-
Even better: their playoff place is guaranteed, they cannot finish second, and roll over in the match to avoid having to meet us in the playoffs.

That's true every night.
