  1. I don't think we'd even meet them in the playoffs at this rate, Norwich will turn them over!
  2. Always felt Ralph leaving was just a bit of a weird situation. He was let down by not having a striker, when we had Ings and that period where Broja was scoring it was great. Clearly being let down and having to battle the lowering quality of the squad just wore him and us down. It's got no better since because the squad has got worse and worse and obviously the cluster fuck of mad Nate and stupid Selles experiment. Loved him as manager but he wouldn't fix this mess now the squad is nowhere near what he would need for his system.
  3. Lazy, doesn't want to be here clearly why bother with him? Talented as he is, without the effort he is a waste of time. Should be playing amo-ameyaw over this clown.
  4. I don't think we have that good of a squad for this division, the transfer window was abysmal. We have got some really talented players but overall squad for this division seems a mess. Sunderland and tonight we've just been bullied, Ipswich had no problem flying into tackles and stopping us, and doing lots of little fouls to stop us. Sunderland constantly fouled us any time we got near them with the ball. We seen to lose any 50/50 get tackled super easy which then leads to someone running through and not getting challenged and they score. We have an attack that failed miserably in the Premier League and is no better now, Adams and Armstrong are pathetic strikers. We need some muscle and destroyers in the side who are ready to fight teams in this division, we just look weak and pathetic hence the steam rollings we have been getting. As for Martin, I was on the fence until he put Aribo in midfield... only a moron would do that with the other options we have.
  5. Wasn't expecting a discount at all, thought they'd just go you have more games! Fine by me looks good at £21 a game.
  6. Tough call between AMN and Moi, but AMN slightly sledges. Feel like Moi tries but he is just a terrible footballer. AMN doesn't try and is terrible. As for Bazunu, whilst he has been awful, he has had an absolutely terrible defence in front of him destroying any confidence he did have. Not good for a young goalkeeper. Probably helps him seeing how many goals we have still conceded with the terrible McCarthy in goal...
  7. Yup will be renewing just as have done for the last 21 years. Hopefully we'll have a clear out and get a good manager in and some strikers. Take the good times and the bad. If I see Elyounoussi ever on the pitch again I may regret that, he sums up everything that is wrong with the squad, can't pass, can't create and can't score.
  8. Embarrassing, but not that surprising we could easily have lost the last EFL cup games against lower league that we barely got through. Can we even blame any of the managers now? This squad is appalling, there is no ability to create anything from open play. We have a bunch of players who can barely control the ball, can't pass 5 yards to their own player and definitely put anything dangerous into the box. Let alone having any striker who could finish even if they could! Going down we'll need to sell most of the team and start again or we are going to be going further down.
  9. Surely he has to go today, can you imagine Saturday when we inevitably go a goal or 2 down. He'll just have to stand there and take abuse for 80+ minutes. Will be completely toxic.
  10. You can't have 5 weeks with the team and put out the performances we have endured and stay in the job. If we had been battling or at least looked like we could win again then you could say give more time. But there is no plan, clueless lineups and tactics. The players look lost and seeing as most of the fanbase never wanted Jones in the first place, you can only imagine the players reaction to him was disbelief. Probably even worse when they have to listen to him every day. He come across incredibly unlikeable.
  11. I expected 0 points by now with those fixtures so we have done ok for me so far. Even if a bit frustrating in some games. It now defines the season and if Ralph is worth keeping around or not. I'd expect 9 minimum from that, really should be winning the next 2 homes games and beating Norwich if we don't want to be in a relegation battle. These are now defences I'd expect Adams and Armstrong to actually be able to score against. If we can't get goals in these we are going to have serious issues.
  12. Is there a reason they can't just give us one ticket to use for every season and just reload them when we buy the next season. Would save a lot of hassle and wastage of old ones and having to post out thousands each year.
  13. Mine arrived just now so hopefully s big drop of people getting them today!
  14. The whole ticket office is a disgrace, the online ticket system as others have mentioned how it got made that much worse is crazy. For a premier league club whose main job is to sell tickets to have such an amateurish site in embarrassing. When I went to sort my tickets out if you want to go back and check something or simply your bank decides it wants to do a fraud check, your whole purchase gets stuck for 15 minutes until it clears. But it doesn't tell you that of course. Its not like season tickets are a surprise every year they need about 15k cards? The whole operation smacks of find the cheap option everywhere and as usual you get what you pay for.
  15. Redmond does have some ability but that picture sums him up. He is mentally weak, downs tools when anything goes against him and has zero footballing brain. Sadly I don't think anyone will be taking him so we will be stuck with him for another season.
  16. It is a clear pattern and a massive issue. Trying to play the same way in a hectic schedule clearly doesn't work with his tactics. In weeks of many games perhaps we need to go back to sitting in tight and conserving energy and counter attacking. He used to say last season we didn't like to have the ball! Even resting players ready for today didn't work. Maybe the players need a week to learn how to pass the ball to each other after each game.
  17. The next 4 games decides it really, we were fantastic for lots of last year. So he earnt some leeway. It's turning into a disaster this year, but we have had lots of injuries and so many games. Why we can't seem to perform at all when we have 3 games in a week is terrible, tactics or preparation or something is wrong there. We now have now nearly week before the cup game, and a nice run of only 3 games in April against teams we are capable of beating, so if we can't perform in those he will have to go.
  18. I've got it, been playing it to death since release and it's awesome. I've not had a FM game since 09 as don't have time to sit at my PC, but being able to play it anywhere now is brilliant. The interface is a little tricky to get used to, but once you figure out how to do everything it's fine. I don't use a stylus but then I don't have fat fingers... Matches can be quite slow, but the fact a full version of classic is running on the vita is amazing. So far I've taken Saints to the bottom of the league with a 14 game winless run resulting in my resigning and starting a new game... Went for Eastleigh and won the league and got to fa trophy semis. Now am in the conference and am top after 23 games, and just drew at home to the dirty skates in the Fa Cup 2nd round.
  19. Just got mine now, said 9:30 for estimated time, then said calculated for ages, then suddenly let me on. First time I've used it, far easier than going down the TO and queueing.
  20. I've been having the same problem, guess mine will be under my dad's name and number then. How utterly stupid. Shouldn't expect anything less from saints where online ticketing is concerned though!
  21. Didn't work for me first time, so started it again. The problem is with the phone numbers, if you go over the limit they set then you get a blank final step. It misses off the final digit. So I just took off the first 0 of them both and then it let me see the proper final step page.
  22. Not really, quite simple why it happens. If a team has a great first half of season, and then a bad one. It's the downward trend, everyone starts to wonder if the manager can turn it around, it all appears to be going wrong, chairman think better get in someone else who can do it. If a team has a bad first half, the chairman will be thinking can he turn it around, already thinking about replacing him. Then suddenly he does turn it round, storming finish to season, it's an upward trend, this is great it will continue, great job! Despite finishing on the same amount of points, they will look at how they think the future will go based on the most recent results. Not that I'm saying Adkins should be sacked if we have a **** 2nd half, just I can easily see why it happens that way!
  23. The wheels were always going to come off when the main players picked up injuries/suspensions. It was clear at the start of the season we had no depth, but then we were all hoping to be around mid table at this time of the season hoping to sneak a run at the playoffs. If this run had been Lambert/Chaplow/Lallana/Fonte all playing then we'd be in trouble. They all had a massive impact on us getting to 1st, and unfortunately have all been out. We need to sign players desperately, and quality players. I don't for one minute think he's given up signing anyone. I'm sure they are not happy about the Hooper deal being out in the public. He'll get on with it quietly if they can. Of course whether it actually leads to a signing..... Either we buy a striker/CB now or we gamble on our star players not getting injured or suspended for the rest of the season. The money is clearly there, but this time of year you do get stupid prices, like Torres and Carroll showed last season! Think that is the major issue here.
  24. Would have thought it's critical, was before Jos got injured. Seabourne we don't even know if he'll play again this season. Jaidi should have retired last season, I don't think he's up to this level at all, especially with his latest lot of injuries. Love to be proven wrong though because I like him. Either way both Seabourne and Jaidi need replacing if we go up, so do it now if possible to find some quality. Gotta be some Prem CB sitting in the reserves somewhere we could loan for a bit?
  25. I'm a season ticket holder currently travelling through Melbourne, I shall come along to that pub to watch! Will also need somewhere to watch the Pompey game!
