  1. I had thought that as I only have three posts a day, I wouldn't bother to reply. But as you wrote such a fair and reasonable reply, I will use my third post on the following, I understand why Yorkie and Offix wrote what they did today. These are two long standing Saints supporters and fans, both long distance at that. Offix in USA and Yorkie in that hotbed of sin, Pocklington. Both worried at the demise of a club they have supported for donkeys years. I would not for a moment question their love of Saints but feel the same 'pain' as they do. I took my grandson to see our last two home games and it cost me nearly £40 per game and both of us left feeling that we could have put that to better use. I don't know anything about you BCN and don't doubt for a moment your love for Saints. You have taken a different 'tack' to my pals above and I can only say that I respect your point of view. I wish I had the same feelings towards Saints as you and others but somehow and somewhere the fire has gone from my belly. I'm not knowledgeable enough about the 'facts' to lay blame at anyone's door and have no ready made answers but I really do hope we survive and prosper but I have my doubts.
  2. Standby for muck and bullets flying your way! The post's will start like this, "You're not a 'Real' fan blah blah".
  3. Wow! I bet you had a 'hardon' as you wrote that. There you are Yorkie, blasted with both barells of Bon's shotgun. Mind you, I'm in the same camp as my 'Learned friend' from Pocklington.
  4. I really do love your posts! Honest. They give me a 'feel good' moment in a dreary day. Mind you, I've been told that I have a strange sense of humour:)
  5. Some posters have very short memories:rolleyes: OK, Sat's game was not much to crow about but to write that it was soooooo bad, well think back 5 seconds to last season. Now that had some really poor games. Get a grip, one poor game is not the end of the world.

    Boo Boys

Agree with you 100%. Never have and don't agree with anyone that does. Walk out early by all means but boo, no! I sat with my grandson (9) in the Chapel and he wants to sit in the Northam next game. Wants to sing OWTS and said he will not sit near moaners. Man behind us F'd and moaned at every mistake. We had to move away from him.
  7. Good read, unlike 90% of the crap posted on here of late (imho). I took my grandson and it cost me nearly £40. There were loads of kids at the game and I was told that the club gave bundles of tickets away to clubs. Despite the game being on TV, I went to the game mainly to encourage young H to become a regular at SMS. The first 15 mins we enjoyed but we were lucky to lose 1-0. Def' pen and MS looked slow for most of the game. Shame, it was starting to look good. I hate to think what our next home crowd will be.
  8. Umm, I don't think you understand how this works:rolleyes: I post, it adds to MY post total. He posts, it adds to HIS post tally. My posting will not add to HIS post tally. Now, get the idea? That's my three for today. Thank **** for that, thinks a couple of posters on here;)
  9. ps, the * stand for s h i t e
  10. Perhaps you were bored? Or needed to boost your post tally. Either way, it's a ****e thread.
