I have emailed David Luker at SFC and enquired if the club are doing any promotions.

I can't read anything about special offers on the OS. Half term and no deals for kids:rolleyes:. Oh well, young H and I will have to listen to the radio.
-
I'm surprised that you're shocked with his post. It's just form, I'm afraid:(
-
I'm more interested in which camera you bought?

My view (in bold above) on the sorry saga.

Possibly sat in a dark room with his head in his hands, like the rest of us. You can't for a moment think he is enjoying our situation, can you?
-
I keep thinking things can't get any worse, then they do. It's like a bad dream. Not just the SJ loan but how we have gone deeper into the mire as each week ends.
-
Thanks. Shame I can't get it. I'm not keen on watching Man U.

Where?

How sad, to read such a shameful quote. I really can't believe that anyone can enjoy seeing the state SFC is in. I have no idea about the politics at SMS and to be honest, I don't want to. I just think it sad to see how far we have sunk. As for protests, 17,000 staying away each game have shown how they feel.

I wasn't wanting to play the 'Let's blame someone' game. I was trying to point out that we are in the mire re finance and have to deal with what we have now. We all know that mistakes were made but that is not getting us anywhere at the moment. We need to cope with the facts in front of us. I would love some Billionaire to park outside SMS and write a blank cheque but is that likely, no, I doubt it.

AP, that's what is called 'a hole in one'. Fair summary of our situation.

Thanks, I enjoyed that!

Coventry V Saints - Pre Match Views and Predictions

Javi will respond to this. (On second thoughts, perhaps not)

I don't do evening games now, as I don't go without my grandson who has school in the morning. Sounds like a good match, hope we win!
-
I did this for 12 years at BR! Ah, the good old days. No wonder the country is going down the pan when we can't do this anymore:rolleyes:

'Big' John McGrath! He reminded me of Desperate Dan of the Dandy comic. Eric Day, Tommy Traynor, Ken W, Hughie F, Ivan G, Stuart Williams, Tommy Hare. Some of many, imho.
-
ps, I also have us down for a 1-0 win:D

I didn't think that medication would work until much later in the week!

B, I really do hope that last night was not your last away game. I know how much you have enjoyed your travels to support Saints and it would be a great shame for that to end. The team needs supporters like you. To be blunt, I have not enjoyed our demise and have wanted to stay away from SMS but I feel the club/team need as much support as possible at this time. Young H and I shall be at our next home game, ever wanting us to 'turn the corner'. Yorkie, hang on in there:) -
Apologies to the people who were sceptical and or negative

Ditto wow! I had to read the 'Profs' post three times:o And the same feeling of surprise on reading John Smith's post. I'm not unhappy at our loss last night, against a team full of a winning confidence. My concern is at our overall situation. My team being managed by a well meaning man without the resources. As each game ends, I feel more sorry for him. As for the club I've supported since 1956, it looks bleaker as each week passes. -

Teamsaint is joking, don't bite! Hats off to you and all the other fans that made the journey. -
Phil, I enjoyed reading your post. It's one of the few on here worth reading of late.
