No, not a mug! Just someone, just like me, hoping for the best. I forecast we win today 0-1.

lol, this is one of my favourite quotes, ever! It brings a smile to my face, every time I see it. I left SMS last sat more than happy with what I saw and felt it was value for money. But bear in mind, Swansea brought a large number of fans with them. I can't say that I agree with staying away from SMS, whatever the reason, but it's personal choice and I can understand.

Any chance of telling all re 'Night Ladies'? Dates/Times/Full details etc

Mods, please delete the above post! Far too sensible a post for this site

Card sent to the clubs greatest ever CF, without doubt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
From the first game (this season) at SMS, I said that we had the poorest squad of players in my memory, back as far as 1956. I stand by that point of view today. As for other clubs coming in to buy, we really only have one player worth buying and that is KD imo, without him, well ......... As for us buying someone of talent, we don't have the cash to a, buy him and b, pay a decent wage. Re bringing back our 'stars' out on loan, it's down to high wages that they are still out on loan. All imho.

I think it only fair that you should ask my permission, before putting my photo on here:rolleyes:
-
So, let me get this right? We leave our warm homes and try to get to SMS and build a large sign, get cold and wet. While you stay in your warm office. Oh, I get it now. Sod off!
-
Ponty, sorry. I thought you were serious.
-
Oh dear, you are normally quite sensible when you post:rolleyes: Lateness of the hour unsettled your thinking? I'm sure a good number of the 15,000 (?) in the stadium would disagree with your point of view. Or have I misunderstood your post?

1000+ were in the march, without doubt.

Boy! Did I enjoy that! What a good, hard fought game of football. Just got in and I have a sore throat from all the shouting. Would I have taken a point before the game? You bet. I wanted a win but am more than happy with a draw. (10 men and 1-2 down). Fair result and worth the price of the ticket. Well done to those that braved the cold and joined in the (peaceful) protest march.
-
David in Sweden, just wondering about all the threads you have started. Are you, on holiday/off work ill/redundant or just wasting time at work?
-
Well done to you and others that went! I was more than happy with one point and look forward to Swansea. Tough nut to crack but we have to start winning at home sometime. Lets get behind the team during the game.
-
Wade, what else can we as fans do but support the team? Have a fight with the owners of the club by all means but withdrawing vocal support from the team is a double edge sword. Would the players play better to a full house or an 8,000 crowd? We all want better things at SFC but is boycotting the games the best way? I'm not sure that it is. In fact, I know in my own mind, it's not. Loss of revenue = Div 1.

See you there!

SHAMEFUL! I thought (wrongly, it seems) that we still had F of S in this country. To my mind, what you do in your OWN time is ****all to do with the GTC. You can bet that they would not have sent that email if you were ...................................., I better not write that! Email them back and write "Kiss my ar*e!" I bet you wish that you could write that to the morons!
-
Stand by! You might get your wish sooner than you think (if my contact is correct).
