I really can't say that I'm impressed at the prospect of him joining Saints. Every time I saw him play for Liverpool, I thought he was rather average. I hope I'm proved wrong.

On seeing our team sheet, I forecasted 0-4. CP obviously had his reasons why he played so many fringe players but if he wasn't interested in going further in the FA Cup, the most prestigious cup in the world, why didn't he play this team in the last tie? Hope the first teamers enjoyed the rest.

With great reluctance, I'm parting with my framed copy of the 'Dell Diamonds' print. The story, I need the room to place the new photo frames I purchased earlier today. I put 16 photos of my grandchildren in the new frames and needed somewhere to place them on a wall. "You are NOT putting any more photo frames in my lounge!", I was forcefully informed! So, I had only one other place for the new photo frames, my old office/den. That then meant, I had to take something down and it has to be the framed print. This frame measures 730cm Wide x 590cm Deep. It is for collection or local delivery only. My association are fundraising for local charities in 2017 and any money for the print will go to one of the following we are supporting this year, Barnados, Wessex Heartbeat, QA Hospital Renal Unit and the Air Ambulance. Playing Football is a means for someone to earn a living. It's not like a marriage between a player and supporter! I remember thinking Saints would never be the same when Terry Paine left to go to Hereford, when Hughie finished, when Chivers went to Spurs, when Big Ron left, etc etc, you get my drift. Good old Saints carry on as if nothing happened and so it should. Tomorrow, we will have something else to think about. Players come and go, the days of the Matt leTiss have long gone. Now, it is a case of move on for an extra £1 million and who can blame them. Thanks JF, wish you well.
