In The Sun (must therefore be true) Forest are about to be taken over by a Chinese consortium. Now Hong Kong is now part of China again, what price our favourite loan shark might have found another opportunity and needs hos favourite lap dog?
-
so should the Clot get the Forest job (are they mad?), cue all those lacking intellect (i.e. the whole population) of Portsea Island saying they think they should go and get Adkins.......

If it lands there, then they would probably ask if they could groundshare. Although I'm not sure Havant and Waterlooville will be keen to see their ground on the telly only half full.

The new Skates owners have a problem. It seems clear it's Portpin's onligation to pay, but how do you force them to do so given where they are based / registered as they are probably beyond the reach of our courts. So assuming they don't pay, the problem will still fester on and on, unless the new owners decide to bite the bullet and cough up themselves; if they did that however the newco would have paid some creditors 100% of the money owed, which would mean they would be obligated to pay 100% to everyone. Rather suspect they status quo will carry on with the dirty little club hoping it eventually goes away.

And Claridge, the unbiased analyst, even agreed that both could have been a straight red. As for the dive that got Pigeonne sent off, then whover done it should get a retrospective booking but they don't do that.

So far this season they are beating us 7 - 0

He's probably done what I am now doing. Putting people who don't talk any sense on ignore.

Have a look at Taba Heights resort -
If I had a pound for everytime someone visited this thread I could have 'bought' pompey - two million times over! But they'd still be in massive debt that'll never be paid back....

Blimey, he knows the bloke who repairs the 1940s style flood lights!

Ho Ho Ho, you aren't clever, as clever people don't try to look clever. I will confirm that on this thread there are no such brags from yourself, as this only started when gun runner junior pulled the plug and you could no longer sign England internationals, despite the best fans in the world tm.

is the court case still going on?

apparently cotterill was out on the pull the other night to celebrate the bright new era. He promised this girl he would take her home and have her in the lounge, the kitchen and the bedroom, and she thought he must have stamina. She wasn't too pleased when they got back to his caravan though.

So no we have done the job we were expected to, we can all get back to the serious business of this fred. I hope they only get a points deduction next season, as taking the 6 points will just feel right and proper, especially if it's a game against us that relegates them!
-
I notice they have extended the early bird window - now why would they do that? Must be guessing that 'bottom dwellers' will eventually feed off the worm and I get the impression there is still plenty of 'bait' available. It's just that there are so few to feed off the bait....
-
I'm assuming the players haven't been paid today. The TV news only ever reports on rare events, and I suspect actually making the payments they are due to make on time would be the top story.

It truly is the gift that keeps on giving.

The wine bar does good food and we've always had good service. Kuti's is ok, but there are much better. Just a few miles up the road towards Winchester is Bishops Waltham that has 3 excellecent restaurants (banks bistro, the wine bar, and Friends Indian, but the ale houses are not good - just drink in the wine bar). It is also an SO postcode!

Small squad - my ar$e! They've used 26 players in the league so far this season and QPR have used 27. does SC expect us to believe that if he had one more player they'd be top of the league. CHEATS.

You mean they are finally starting to understand it - about 17 months too late!
-
every time I watch the highlights it shows we hit the woodwork about twice a game - it's gotta turn our way soon!

At last, they are starting to dig. Hold on for the ride! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/portsmouth/8127164/Were-Portsmouth-sunk-by-the-man-who-never-was.html

We were given minus 10 when the parent company went bust (rightly so I think), but have Charlton found a way around it? If I read this right it says that they've transferred all the assets to another company, and left the plc to go pop. That stinks! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/charlton_athletic/9151712.stm life-long fan of the south-east London side, Murray was forced to restructure Charlton Athletic this summer when Charlton Athletic plc was effectively wound up with debts of more than £30m. Charlton Athletic Football Company, which owns the players, and Charlton Athletic Holdings, which owns the Addicks' stadium The Valley and the training ground, were transferred to Murray's new company in July. Murray has made no secret of the fact Charlton Athletic need to find new investors and he recently told a meeting of shareholders in the now worthless plc that £5m is required this season to avoid administration.
