  1. On the plus side though, the sick mans plan can only work if there is a club out there willing to take those players on loan. I suspect that a few might be put off by their wages (but I suppose Pompey could promise to pay them and some point in the future yet to be derermined).
  2. Although not very good on the working of the court. The judge can decide whether or not to make the losing party pay costs. If I were the PST (thank goodness I'm nothing to do with them!) I would hedge my bets by assuming I would have to fund those and include it in my business model, otherwise I might win the court case and on day one be insolvent!
  3. The only story you have published is very old: Matt doesn't like Cortese. We all know that, so I'm sorry that is a poor show. I don't know either of them, but respect both except when it resorts to silly name calling without any facts to substantiate the claims, and makes the people who repeat these claims look childish.
  4. You need 20 to be competitive though
  5. He'll just say Chinny is obviously a skkummah cos he is saying the same thing as them
  6. Blimey - Chinny seems to be nearly copying what has been written on here. It's war played out in the media. Again. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11674/8034667
  7. No, just paid
  8. roughly £0.00
  9. Like the opposite of the fingers on their hands?
  10. Well Eastleigh are definitely better than one of them
  11. Whilst the title and article are full of the usual skate nonsence, the comments from around the country make me smile! There is not much sympathy out there anymore. http://www.wsc.co.uk/wsc-daily/1149-july-2012/8892-portsmouth-s-points-deduction-is-unfair

  13. Not gone yet: Pompey have reached an agreement with Aaron Mokoena over the termination of his contract. The South Africa international has signed a compromise agreement over money outstanding. Subject to Football League and Football Association approval Mokoena, who had one year left on his Fratton Park deal, is free to move on.
  14. I think you mean concatenate. Formula should be =concatenate(A1,"@company.com") The $ symobol means that if you drag the field through the colums it will always bring in the cell immediately after the $ - e.g. A1 would always be displayed no matter what the row.
  15. It's got to be a statue of TCWTB, or maybe a collection of web-toed figurines
  16. And so they are celebrating the news that 'The Axe' has agreed a deal to move to South Africa and that is removes £15k pw from the wage bill. Shame they also missed the comments from his agent that says they still need to agree a deal for his last year on the contract with Birch and that he is still owed money from the last administration. Is that not admitting that they have failed to honour the settling of football creditors in full last time? I love the way Birch and Agents are using the media to spin things their own way.....tick tock.
  17. of course if you are unlucky enough to have been caught up in the previous admin, you won't get 2p in the £, but 0.4p in the £, as you have already had 80% of it written off.
  18. That'll be 10% of the profit to Rosie first though won't it?!

    1 = 2!

    Correct - amuzing that my sons GCSE teacher couldn't spot that!
  20. Chopper71

    1 = 2!

    If 1 = 2, then X = Y X - Y = 0 2(X - Y) = 0 X - Y = 2(X - Y) (X - Y) / (X - Y) = (2(X-Y)) / (X - Y) 1 = 2
  21. Anyone know how to make a formal complaint to the police?
  22. A bit of advice if I may please! Has anyone ever used one of the online company's like New Car Discount or CarQuake to buy a new car? Their websites seem very good and the reviews I've found online seem very positive, so I can't help think what the catch is. Or is the answer simply to go to the dealer and show them what you can get the car for and ask them to price match (and if they don't walk out)? Thoughts appreciated!
  23. There is none so blind as those that will not see.
  24. Re FCs point: b) Even if a new CVA is agreed which includes an agreement from baker tiley to accept less - how will this be viewed by the FL as they have still in effect defaulted on the last CVA? (although in theory that was under premier league rules and under their jurisdiction rather than the FL - something else that does in theory provide the FL with an escape clause should they chose not to punish Portsmouth as a result of previous CVA dilution - 'not a FL club when this ws agreed') I think they went into admin whilst in the PL, but the CVA was agreed when they came out of admin whilst in the FL?
