edited the stupid double negative above - poopey maths must be rubbing off on me!
-
Saturday could be interesting - every team below them in the league (granted there aren't not that many) all have winnable home fixtures this weekend, whereas the few have a tricky looking away fixture - keep those fingers crossed and they could be in the drop zone pretty soon!
-
There at again - this guy was given the books to 'put towards a good cause'. How can PFC possibly claim to be a good cause?
-
blimey, is the penny starting to drop? http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/development-group-to-be-axed-1-5853109

But I am really interested in buying some of the local businesses in order to get a share of the £300m generated every home game......

I was in Dubai over Christmas (no my name is not Phil, although I did play golf) and could not believe how terrible their coverage was (they present on Al Jazeerah or whatever it is). Keys was incredibly clueless, and Andy reminded me of the old man that used to sit next to me at The Dell who used to get Benali and Monkou mixed up!

Get in! well played Torquay. Shalala
-
All their supporters stagger - it must be tough walking with additional toes, especially when they are webbed.
-
Boo, all 3 teams below Poopey have had their games postponed so it means they will be at least 3 point clear of the drop zone - the plus side a defeat for them leaves all the clubs below them with at least one game in hand.
-
Because they are low quality, like their credit rating.
-
I don't have to hand them anything - they have already helped themselves to enough handouts from local businesses and the tax man. Personally I find it akin to how everyone seems to want to stop and have a good look at a car crash.

OMG, the kid is in the papers again. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/superfan-alfie-bags-season-ticket-after-impressing-fellow-fan-1-5835435

I think the money has to go via the football league or FA and they will use it to ensure any football debts that need paying are paid before poopey see a penny of it anyway?
-
Bit late to try this novel idea, maybe they could have tried it before and done something like repay some debt: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-boss-has-no-qualms-about-turning-to-youth-1-5826641

I was going to try a wisecrack about 'how many stories from the same family can the Snooze publish?', but then realised that every article is about the same family down that way.

Spot the inconsistency: http://www.chichester.co.uk/sport/football/pompey-latest/barker-keen-to-trim-pompey-squad-1-5816870 http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-to-unveil-new-defensive-recruit-1-5818680 So we have the need to reduce the squad and we'll achieve that by actually increase it. Poopey maths again.

Blimey, admission they aren't the biggest from the Snooze (or has that just happened because the real owners upped their %?) http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/business/local-business/businesses-will-see-benefits-by-investing-in-pompey-1-5815830 Last year Pompey became one of the largest wholly fan-owned clubs in the UK after years of struggle, two periods of administration in three seasons, and a high court wrangle over their Fratton Park stadium.
-
wow, finally admitting they didn't ask questions before, but then saying no need to ask questions now! how many facepalms are there? http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/opinion/opinion-why-fans-can-trust-new-investment-1-5795302

lol - former hero's are going to be telephoned to convert their pledges - I would suggest they just say take it out of what you owe me. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/trust-target-remaining-pledgers-in-pompey-shareholding-push-1-5792375 Also got to laugh that they print that some of the pledges are fans of 'rival clubs' - I can't believe Eastleigh fans would stoop to that!
-
Facepalm alert! http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-ready-to-raid-big-boys-1-5786088 I think there head is so far up their own ar$e that it must nearly be coming out the top again

My favourite was an old guy I used to sit next to at The Dell, and he kept getting his players mixed up. Ken Monkou made a mess of a clearance and his response was 'for God's sake Benali!'. Quite how he mixed them up I will never know!

Love this quote on the BBC page: 'Chairman Iain McInnes revealed the board had initially been split five-to-two on appointing Barker but eventually it was a unanimous decision that the club needed a "fresh face with new ideas". ' I didn't expect the infighting to start even before they'd appointed the new manager - now which 2 of the board needed to be reminded who really owns the club?
-
Micah Hall for manager?

Might not be 100% correct, but you would only need planning permission if the extention is visible from the front or if you are going to within 1 metre of the boundary. In terms of cost I wouldn't expect it to be huge. We built a 21' by 9' extention with 15' bi-folds and the cost (including all the plastering, running of electrics, windows) was about £25k.
